Called Tex's and scheduled an oil change on an '02 Silverado. Two days later the passenger window stopped closing, so I called and asked if they could take a look at the window after the oil change. They said they could do that, so in we went.
When I got there, they told me how much the oil change would be, along with the diagnostics on the window. I gave the go-ahead, and they said it was the motor for the window, and how much the replacement would be, if they could find one. They said finding new parts for a 23-year-old truck could be a problem.
Not only did they find one, but they had it in the shop and in the truck before I was done with my lunch.
Great job guys, you definitely have all of our business!

Found the problem and fixed along with a few other issues...was treated with courteous and respect. Very happy with the results. Have already recommended to another friend looking for a reliable and fair repair service. I will be back if the need arises

2nd visit to this place. I returned because of the honest service I got on my car the first visit. This visit was for just an oil change on my jeep but I was in and out in no time and was satisfied. I will return for service going forward.

I hat Tex's Transmission fix a car several years ago. They did a good job with that.
More recently, they diagnosed our old Explorer and helped us make a decision to let it go.
Most recently, I brought them a newer Explorer that had a brake line leak. I found the leak myself, but did not know how to fix it.
I called Tex's again, amd explained to them the leak was located in front of the driver side front wheel. It was the flexible line that then ran over to the right front wheel.
When I dropped the vehicle off after hours, I noted again on the key drop envelope where the leak was located. The following day, I received a phone call from Tex's stating they needed to do a diagnostic test on it to find any issues. I AGAIN stated where the leak was located, and that was the only issue I was concerned with. He asked for approval of the diagnostic test, $140. I reluctantly agreed.
Later I get the assessment text and not that they found the leak. But, the heading stated that the customer stated a brake line leak, but unsure of where it is located. That angered me a good bit.
They wanted $214 to fix it. When I saw the charged me the $140, and the note on that, I declined repairs.
Not impressed.
As a side note, took it to another shop nearby, fixed in less than 2 hours, under $100 charge.

These gentlemen are top notch in my opinion. Cody is very friendly and is super respectful. Oil change 2 weeks ago. Front brakes today. Reasonable pricing and great service. In and out in under 2 hours. Doesn't get better than that. Going back in few weeks for rear brakes.

Tex Transmissions has been great to us.
When my transmission went bad, we had no clue who to go to, we knew going to a dealer was not affordable for us. A friend suggested Tex Transmissions they have put a new transmission and motor in my truck, they do our tune ups and oil changes, they are our go to for our automobiles. Very professional, very informative and kind, and they do good work with warranty. So glad that we found them.
