All of the employees at this store are extremely helpful and friendly! Liz and Penny are just fabulous! This store is by far the best one in Lawrenceburg.

I have been shopping at my local Dollar General for almost 20 years. The staff has changed over time, but the backbone of the store has always been very hard working Women. It’s not uncommon to have Ladies near retirement age. They unload their trucks that come in, (the tractor trailer arrives and there is no one to lug the tons of product out of the very hot and or extremely cold trailers). There are usually 2 exhausted Ladies on the schedule. That’s it! The process of unloading the truck, takes place at the same time the store is open, and all the while, they have to run back to the floor to run the registers and assist customers. I have never worked there, and do not personally know any of these employees outside of the store. I do know, that merchandise is often seasonal, and moves quickly out the door. So the customer at times becomes needy, and has to ask where products are located. Yes, there is product on big carts, in the aisles, as these items have just arrived on the truck, and has to be stocked properly . I have asked for assistance many times. Promptly professionally, with a smile I have always been guided to my requested item. These Ladies must make a minimum of $25 an hr, to start. Providing the labor of 3 or 4 hardworking employees. If they don’t, they should be. I rely on my Local Dollar General. It’s a great little 2021 , 5 & dime store. Very profitable. I gave 5 stars to the employees. Can’t say the same for the CEO.Thank you.S. Clifford.
