I booked a 2 night stay with me and my partner and the room we were staying in had bed bugs. I was not aware of the bed bugs until the morning after. My partner stated that she woke up, went to work and was itching the whole time. She just assumed that she was having an allergic reaction. I was not aware of her situation as I too had itching going on and just looked past it. It wasn't until after my partner got off work that we discussed our itching situation to each other that we decided to go back to the hotel and check for bed bugs. After we flipped the covers back on both beds we found bed bugs in one of the beds. I then proceeded to take pictures of them and we gathered our stuff and left the room to check out the day before our stay was supposed to end. At the front desk is where the worker told us that the manager would be in tomorrow to give us our refund. The next day the manager called and told me that he would not be able to give me a full refund for both nights and also accused us of potentially bringing them in.

Old but clean, functional, and friendly. My husband and I would stay again for traveling through. Breakfast buffet was average (oatmeal packets to heat in microwave, no raisins or nuts; good scrambled eggs; small apples but no other fresh fruit or yogurt). Lotion in the room was higher quality than usual for this level of hotel. Comfortable beds. Easy access near plenty of amenities.

We are currently staying here and if we could go to a different hotel and get our money back here, we would. The comforter, pillow, and the bed sheet itself all had dirty spots on it like it wasn't cleaned. We had to keep on sheet over the bed and we went out to but cheap blankets to keep ourselves covered and to lay down on. The walls by the floor has so much dust, there's stuff on the blinds (most likely mold), you can tell the door was busted in before, the bathroom floor and shower are dirty, and the room smells of mildew. The pool clearly can't be used because there's stuff in it that can be seen while walking by and it looks gross. Also looked like there were dried pee spots around the toilet. Only good thing was that the guy at the desk was kind, but overall, it's so outdated and unclean. The juice dispenser also didn't work when we were told it would be open currently.
Update: We ended up finding a shirt that didn't belong to us in the room. Clearly the room wasn't cleaned. Very disappointed. We will not be returning. Breakfast also had horrible eggs, sausage, and gravy. Only good thing were the prepackaged store bought muffins
Rooms: So dirty

STOP! Turn around and don't stay here. My husband and I stayed 1 night out of a 2 night paid reservation.
The picture of the exterior is correct that it has covered parking at the entrance but it must be AI enhanced because it looks like a dump in real life.
When we arrived the entry was dark n dreary. A man behind the counter greeted us. As he was checking us in another man appeared standing behind my husband. Then a 2nd man appeared behind the counter. I felt uncomfortable but continued to our room.
That's where I should have stopped and turned around. The hallway is dark, no lights in the ceiling only dimly lit sconces. Musty smell.
Elevator made you not want to touch the buttons.
2nd floor: orange light bulbs in the sconces which made the hallway even darker. I started to freak out a little & if it had been just me traveling I would have. I didn't feel safe because of the 3 male employees that kept appearing and now a dark , musty hallway. One of the rooms was open and it was full garbage, no bed so I guess it was used for storage.
Our room stunk. It was old, outdated by 20 year's. Bathtub would not drain while taking a shower. Personally I slept in my clothes for fear of creepy crawlers or someone knocking on my door during the night. Neither occurred. We left as quick as we could the next morning. Never looked at the breakfast or had coffee. We went to the Waffle House across the street. I have never read reviews about a hotel before I make a reservation but trust me I will now. The negative reviews are true. The good reviews are questionable to me. Notice that some of the pictures have been removed from the negative reviews.
Buyer beware.
Safety: Did not feel safe

I have had the great privilege of being a guest at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Lagrange Kentucky. While I have been online and read different reviews, I am personally the one who likes to see for myself. The hotel is clean. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is always fresh. The pool is nice. I see kids/adults in it all the time. The staff is very courteous and friendly. If your every traveling and need a place to stay I suggest you give this hotel a try.
Safety: Very safe hotel. The local police make rounds through the parking lots to make sure ever is safe.

I do not know why the reviews are so low, the staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was nice, breakfast was good, and the room was awesome. This was the best hotel we've stayed in thus far in Kentucky, all the others were sketchy, run down, and felt like we were going to wake up in a bath of ice with our kidneys removed. Didn't have that feeling here.

The location was prime for us. . However this hotel was very below par. The room rate was inexpensive but I would have paid more to stay somewhere more secure and comfortable. The air in our room didn’t work.. it was musty and mildew smelling. The hotel itself was dingy and outdated.
Rooms: The rooms smell like mildew. The carpet and beds are outdated and feel overused.

I came to this hotel for work. I checked in on June 22nd with our company. The rooms were great. The staff was great. But, I have to tell you about one particular person that went above and beyond. Her name was Ashley. She is an absolute gem. She helped me and my guys better than anyone in any hotel that I have ever stayed in and we stay all over the world working for the railroad. Please acknowledge her and your front desk clerk Harold he’s a blessing to all guest that walk in. You have two great staff members and we will definitely be back to see them.

Room was large, comfortable bed, breakfast was appreciated but lacking, not much selection. I'd stay here again if needed.

Very clean and nice hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Mr. Lalani is an outstanding General Manger. Will stay again for sure! 5 starts across the board.
Rooms: Rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable and pillows were great too. The water pressure in the shower was perfect!
