I have a retired 28 year old OTTB in Kentucky at friends farm, and I live in Arizona, and I have had the pleasure of meeting both Deanne and Kelsey when I visit Glasgow KY and they are at the farm for a vet call or yearly maintenance. I recently had them out two times in a week to help my old man with an abscess and they are very experienced, calm and patient and do an amazing job, got my "Brave" man all fixed up and happy again. I would recommend them to ANY and ALL!!!.
They are kind and patient and take the time to explain things whether in person or on the phone that they are doing or have done for my horse. I appreciate that very much.

They did great with our girls. Relaxed environment and they were very patient. Let us know everything they were doing, answered all our questions and gave us some recommendations.

I wouldn't say this is a good place to go if you need information I think twice about taking my horse there my God the oversensitivity dramatic drama from the vet no thanks up to you but I wouldn't and I won't take my horses there no thanks

Dr. Hughes is one of the most knowledgeable vets that I am acquainted with. She is very committed to continuing education and learning new things. Her practical side and her willingness to actually listen to the owner are two of the things that really make her stand out in the profession. Her facility is very easy to get to and turn a trailer around in, and is always very clean and neatly kept. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Hughes and her high standards of care

Dr Hughes is amazing. She is always accessible, honest and knowledgeable. Not only has she helped us with the normal vet care for horses, she has also been there for several major emergencies. Without her guidance and medical knowledge, I don’t feel our outcomes would have been as positive! She has also been a great sounding board when we were vetting several horses. She participated in the PPEs process and reviewed xrays, labs etc on horses and helped us make an informed decision. She never fails to return a phone call or text and is always there as a sounding board and a source of advice. You can tell Dr Hughes truly cares for her patients and their human owners!!

Dr Hughes and her staff have been a great help with my 2 accident prone horses. I was new to the area and had an emergency with my horse she went above and beyond to accommodate us and get my boy healthy, would highly recommend.

I hired Dr. Hughes as my vet to do a PPE on a horse I was purchasing out of state. She sorely missed key information that I had specifically asked for. I will be filing a complaint against her license to the veterinary board.

Dr. DeAnn Hughes and her team really seem to care about your horses and takes the time to explain things when theres a new problem arising. She also stays updated with all the diesease that can harm our horses. She is a true professional.
