Incredibly unprofessional staff at this church have me constantly wondering if they’ve even read the Bible. The way they talk to grown adults makes me terrified of how they might talk to children. I wouldn’t recommend this place in any capacity for a dog.

I cannot say enough good things about JUMCDC. Our girl has been there since 6 weeks old and they have been nothing but kind, caring, and responsive. At one point we switched daycares due to scheduling issues but came right back because nobody compares to them! My girl is so so happy there, I would make just about any arrangement to make sure she could go. I love that they use the Brightwheel app, and they thoroughly document everything from naptime to what they ate to any incidents they might have (fall, head bonk, etc). Very responsive to messages on brightwheel. I also get THE CUTEST PHOTOS EVER, I literally look forward to them every day. They are always doing fun and educational activities, and I love to get artwork tucked into her backpack nearly weekly. It is such a relief to know my girl is in such good hands every day while I'm at work.

I have been a member of JUMC for nearly 25 years. I taught Sunday school for about 11 years. I ran Angel Food Ministries from here for 11 years, working with the local Dare to Care, and had 23 other churches working with me. We helped feed 850 families each month. JUMC now is a Dare to Care feeding sight, and offers a free hot meal to anyone that comes on Weds nights between 5:30-6:30. Income doesn't matter. When my boys were growing up going to this church if you ran late Sunday mornings, you would have to ask people to move down to have a seat. On holidays, such as christmas, if you got there late you would have to stand during the service it was so full. These days not so many people attend church anymore. I think regardless of your beliefs, that children should go to church, and learn what they say, so that they can make their own decisions when they are old enough. Kids and adults alike need positive influences. What better place to find this than the loving congregation at JUMC. Join us for a service at 8:30 or 10:50 on sundays, or stop in for a free dinner on Weds night, and meet some wonderful people that will welcome you with open arms regardless of who you are. We welcome everyone that walks through the doors! Fill this church back up. We welcome you!
