Maybe fifty cents more expensive than the cheapest gas nearby. Air pump out of order today. Convenient mini mart attached. A bit expensive - surprising since its so far away from the freeway exit. All of CA probably pays .50 more than we should even after considering local taxes and state specific taxes. During these times its best to go to the least expensive gas stations. Its the only thing that consumers can do to stop the getting taken advantage of. There are a couple no name gas stations in Castro Valley for rock bottom prices. Check Gasbuddy. Air pump out of order today. I think even by law this isn't allowed. Convenient mini mart. People working here are pleasant. Busy and safe feeling area as there is also an attached restaurant that creates lots of foot traffic.

Valero sells gas, has a mini convenience that has snacks, soft drinks, kombucha, coffee but no alcohol.there's a restroom somewhere.they no longer have an A & W, instead they have Habibi's Birria, offering Mexican & Mediterranean foods.buys: Kevita "Pineapple Peach" Kombucha (3.79)-has a peachy taste with tea flavoring-also too much sugar, 30% of daily requirement.wouldn't buy again.

I just paid $4.19 for a 12oz Red Bull... wait, what?! They are $2.99 full price at MAX. Also, first gas station in my life that had no sale at all on Red Bull products. Wonder if their distributor is aware of this? Also, mentioned this to a coworker and they said they have been charged more for gas than it said at this particular Valero. Not to mention their attitudes. Just avoid this place and go across the street!

Be aware of getting the receipt when you buy the gasoline ; especially you buy gasoline at this gas station 1/ pay attention how much gasoline you buy. How much money you pay and get the receipt because you may having a chance to be overcharged . Check your bank statement right away if you pay by card 2/ if you get overcharged and you pay by credit cart and also you dont have receipt . The chance you get money back seem to be low. This is my story I came to pour the gasoline at this station (138 jackson street in hayward ) on april 2016 .My car is honda crv . The full tank of my car is 15 gallons and the price for unlead is $2.80 / gal on that day . Total is $39 . When i came to pour station, my car still had 1 gallons left . I was hurry on that day and i forgot to get the receipt after paying by my credit card . On may /1 . I came to this gas station again after finding out they over charged me $76. 98 (it should be charged $39 dollars for a full tank's car ) i talked to manager and showed him my bank statement be charged $ 76.98 . He said " wait untill the transaction is completed . I came back on may / 8 , waiting and meet the manager and showed him my bank statement overcharged . It is transaction now. He refused to pay . I came back again on may 9/2016 . And keep telling him my car's tank is only 15 gallons max And show him the bank statement be overcharged . he refused to pay for the difference Totally I came back three time , 2 times I showed him the bank statement overcharged and no result . It is hard to deal with people . I wish i can bring issue to the gas station owner. Right now I got help from the third party they will talk to them and I am waiting for the progress . So i can tell it is ok , worse or more worse Of this station . This the first time i have to deal with this case. i don't want to make people down . But they make me down already. Remember get receipt !!!
