If I were reviewing clothing alone, I would give 3 stars. Softer, more flexible material, would give 5 stars. But because there is not a store in the town that is Carhartt's home base, where it manufactures the line...I cannot give more stars. Employees get discounts. The poverty base of their hometown is 95% economically challenged or impoverished, yet must pay the one store (mens only) in town, double the prices that the managers and office workers pay. How hard would it be to open a room in that gigantic factory and allow the local area residents to enjoy some of those same savings? Every other business in town pulls together for Christmas, with the exception of Carhartt. They throw away enough coats, bibs, coveralls, hats, hoodies, jackets, jeans, and other ite.s to cloth the entire county. The very same county they were founded and still operate in today. They should be ashamed of themselves.
