Was recommended this shop to fix my alternator. When everyone else was booked through the week, B&B was able to get me in as early as that day.
The guys there were honest and transparent about everything - the price, the parts, the process, and the time it took. Extremely valuable. The mechanics at this shop were a pleasure, very grateful for Matthew and his crew!

I will never use another mechanic as long as I live in the area. I have an old rusted car,minor issues and this shop has done everything to keep me from obtaining a new car payment with way reasonable pricing! My car was in the shop last week,still leaking oil after i left and they did not hesitate to come to my home on a friday night to get my car back in safely. He's an honorable man,and doesnt try to take advantage of me being a woman and doesnt try to upcharge me...that alone will make me a loyal customer. Thanks guys.

Id always come here for anything I needed a few years ago. But I can tell they don’t care anymore. Took my truck in for a coolant leak and asked them to diagnose it, left it for a day which is fine, they never reached out to me for an update. I called them and they said they did some diagnostic but still didn’t know where it was coming from. Next day comes around and they’re coming up on closing time so I call and get sent straight to voicemail. They call me a little while later and say it was an upper radiator hose. I thought for a second and told them since it’s already there might as well just replace it. They replaced the part before getting my confirmation and charged me a whopping 237 dollars. AND THE TRUCK IS STILL LEAKING. I took it back and showed him the area it’s coming from after looking at it myself along with a buddy who’s been a tech for over 20 years. They didn’t offer a discounted price or some of my money back. Dude said “well we can take it back, but it’ll be a few hundred dollars” this is piss poor compared to what they used to be.

Haven't taken my car anywhere else for a few years now even though I moved out of Independence. I recently had a new muffler put on as well as a couple minor repairs (new window motor and AC charge) and they were awesome, fitting me in to their busy schedule asap when a part of the muffler ended up being defective. John was great in explaining everything thoroughly and being up front and honest about the entire process. I took my car there for a cylinder 1 misfire and when he got the car he said it wasn't number 1 but number 3 and had a Crack in the valve cover. The next day he said it didn't have a cracked valve cover and it was the number 1 cylinder . He had my car almost a week and the day after I picked my car up the motor blew. When I called him he said it wasn't his problem and to call his lawyer. Cons run the place so save yourself the hassle and money
