Reserved a few days at a time through the month. Rooms were always clean and I was given an upgrade. Friendly front desk and cleaning staff.

People generally leave reviews for one of three reason, a bad experience, a extraordinary experience, and because they were asked to.
The staff was fine enough. At check in they said my room was complimentary upgraded. I thought that was pretty sweet.
However, when I got to my room it smelled strong of something strong mold or weed (I don't know) and cleaner. There were many stink bugs in the room that I had caught in a bottle. The beds did not look or feel like they were clean. The shower had hair in it. And right before we left and picked up our last bag there was a cockroach underneath it.
I did have two dogs with me, I figured it was an old room where they put people with dogs. I can't speak for the rest of the hotel but the second building (where I stayed) was definitely lacking in cleanliness and a welcoming environment.

Walked to a stained bed sheet, can't even call it a comforter because of thin it is. No microwave or refrigerator in the room so I had to walk all the way upfront to the lobby to use the one in there, only to be told the lobby is closed at 7pm. Do not waste your $ here, almost any where else would be better

I reserved a room at this location through Expedia . When I got to the hotel to check in my reservation was still pending in the hotels system. I then was told that Expedia had taken it upon themselves & cancelled my reservation without my permission! HN was very helpful and explained the issue to me . I then left the property because I couldn’t stay due to the mistake Expedia . I then returned to the hotel to book a room in person . The gentleman working the night shift assisted me and per HN upgraded my room for the inconvenience I was caused ! I truly recommend staying at Red Roof ! The staff is very helpful & truly want to make sure your stay is pleasant and enjoyable as well as safe! Thanks HN for all your help!

I'm on a cross country motorcycle trip and this place does the trick.

Stayed there couple of nights with family. It was quiet and safe. Affordable price and all the staff were friendly. Would recommend going there.

Checked into our room(120) sat our bags down, checked for bed bugs, walked into the bathroom and Mr. Roach was crawling up the wall from the shower faucet. Grabbed bags, reloaded car, went back to desk and requested a refund. Man on duty said call back at 730am and Manager would be there. I called 3 times and was told Mgr. would call back. Never received a call. Drove back over next morning and was told there's nothing they can do except give a 50% off my next stay. Why would I want to stay again when you have bugs crawling in your rooms. Again refused to refund my room and adamant they do not know who the manager is above the general manager. Extremely dissatisfied customer here. Will be following up. I had to take my 76 year old aunt out again in this weather to find a different clean place to stay. Do not recommend and would not stay here. They also refused to give me the paper back that I went inside with because I cannot have the "hotel" paper. And yes, I have pictures of the bug. Their customer service needs attention!

×××××###WARNING### xxxxIf you or anyone that will be staying with you are African American or bi-racial. Stay at your own risk! I'd advise you to not even think about it. The hotel is run by a group of foreigners that absolutely Do NOT like African Americans! They don't even try to act like they do. Professionalism gone out of the window! Even though I've been described as a very pleasant person by those who know or have encountered me. I travel the country frequently on business and this has been the worst experience i could have ever imagined. The condition of the rooms are deplorable and bug infested. Holes in doors, burns on blankets although they claim to be a smoke free facility. The smell, well that is another conversation for another day. The staff is unbelievably rude to women and try to take advantage of them. The manager is never available. This location does not represent all of the wonderful hotel chains around the world. Make this place your last option if you have plans on visiting Louisville. I would warn the devil about staying at this establishment. It's just that miserable. I will be in contact with the BBB. This place needs to be shut down immediately!
