“I have this theory that if you don’t play any music, the customers will feel awkward and then leave. I’m trying to drive them away.” — an employee speaking to another employee when my friends and I were not even ten feet away. Silent store, no music, TVs off, messy store, employees just standing at the counter and not acknowledging anyone walking in and out. One employee had their feet up on the counter. I’ve shopped at this store a hundred times before but I don’t plan on coming back. It takes five seconds to just say hi. It takes no seconds to NOT crap-talk the customers that make it so they have a job to be lazy at in the first place.

Workers talking across the silent store, one with red hair and the other with curly brown hair. Yelling about how they dont turn on the music because they want to drive the customers away and they hate the customers that shop here. Didn't offer any help or greet at the door, ignored any questions. Very unpleasant workers and experience. Do better. Apparently their name was Lotus bc they were yelling at each other as the red hair girl left 🤷

I miss seeing Frederica and Mrs Juanita and the fye outer loop. They made the store fun and had people coming in wanting to shop. Riley was amazing in Saint Matthew’s she held that store down

Just a heads up if you get the “free” membership do realize it’s a paid membership not free and they will fail to tell you about the renewing payments part. look at your bank statements as 11.99$ is the cost of their membership. I’m not one to avoid stores but as of this time I will no longer shop here and actively warn people not to purchase from a store that according to many many other people is doing this scam repeatedly.
(Review will remain here unless the company makes things right as of now they have failed to do so for weeks through phone)

Salem and Drake are fantastic employees. Absolutely hands down helpful. They didn’t mind my billion and three questions and are very honest about which fandoms they are knowledgeable about.

Cashier lied to my daughter about the " Free" backstage pass membership. Charged $12/ month plus started charging for several random magazine subscriptions. This was at St Matthews mall. The Jefferson Mall location did the same thing to my wife a few years ago. This seems so common and widespread, why is there no class action suit yet?

Absolute garbage store. They sign you up for the “backstage pass” telling you it doesn’t charge you when it does. $12 a month for trash. I’m never shopping here again and I hope you all fail.

Do not sign up for the rewards system. It charged me without my permission for a bunch of magazines that I don’t want!
