Dr. Durham is the best vet I’ve ever known. He always takes the utmost care of my dogs, is very personable, very knowledgeable, and explains what’s going on with my pets in layman’s terms.

Please don't believe any negative things you may have read. 2 bulldogs attacked my Daisy on Friday night. I called the after hours number and Dr. Raines called me back in minutes. He met me there about 1 in the morning. He saved her life....I know she would have been dead by morning. I remember Dr. Durham saying a while back nobody wants to be a country doctor. Well let me tell you.....I'm so very thankful for my 2 country doctors!

Used their emergency after-hours for our pet goat that had kidney stones. They took good care of him and ended up having to do surgery to save his life. Prices were good and the people were very caring.

I'm so grateful to have found Larue county vet ! The care and compassion they showed to my Jada bug was exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Dr Raines took the time to thoroughly explain everything and answered all my questions. Their expertise and dedication to helping animals is evident in everything they do.
The facility was clean and well-maintained, and the prices were reasonable. But most no importantly, they truly cares about the well-being of their patients and their owners. I feel lucky to have them as my partner in keeping my furry friend healthy and happy.
5 stars isn't enough - I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Thank you Dr Raines , for all that you do!"

Dr. Raines I truly believe saved my dogs life. My dog presented with numerous diffuse and odd symptoms. Almost immediately Dr. Raines was suspicious of Blastomycosis. He ran the test and we received a confirmed diagnosis and have started treatment. My dogs prognosis is very good considering this is often a deadly fungal infection, but it was caught very early which is so key with this infection. Since diagnosis I have done much research on my own to learn more about this infection. I have found through my research that too many times dogs are misdiagnosed and improperly treated which causes delay in treatment and with this infection time is of the essence. It hits out of the blue, hard and the downward spiral is super fast. I cannot thank Dr. Raines and the staff at LaRue County Animal Clinic enough for their swift action with diagnosing and treating this horrible infection. They took us in immediately almost every day for a week while we were dealing with continued issues that developed literally over night. Dr. Raines is an outstanding veterinarian as long as he is practicing we will never go anywhere else.
