The Cat Vet in Hebron offers tender loving care, accurate diagnosis, and solutions that are always helpful. Worth a 30 minute drive from East Cincinnati for me, my family, friends and neighbors. We trust Dr. Dell and the knowledgeable staff.

I started taking my cat Comet to Dr. Dell after he had a surgery at a previous vet. I had felt that our previous vet did not properly address my concerns about Comet and the pain he was in. From the first visit, Dr. Dell immediately got to work and introduced me to the feline grimace pain scale. She educated me thoroughly and showed me that Comet was in a lot of pain as I had thought. Over the next 6 weeks Dr. Dell and her amazing staff did absolutely everything under the sun to help Comet. He was given pain meds, all of my concerns were addressed, and he was happier than he had been in weeks. Dr. Dell made sure Comet had the most pain- free last 6 weeks of his life possible. I could not recommend the Cat Vet of Hebron more. Thank you all for making sure Comet was taken care of and loved. ?

A good place to take your cat. It means a lot to a person to have the vet and staff treat your baby like their own.

This place ideally would be perfect. I love that it’s a cat only clinic and don’t have to deal with any dogs.. but here is where the 1 star comes in.
I took my cat in with severe periodontal disease in need of tooth cleaning/extractions. Tests were done, he had a snap bnp test done. The bnp was done to ensure his heart health is okay for anesthesia. This test only says if the levels are normal or abnormal with no other context. (I got full bloodwork done somewhere else, his level is 250 which is mildly elevated.) She called to let me know they were abnormal and options from here. We chose to do a chest xray to look at his heart before doing surgery. I brought him in, they did the xray and brought me back to let me know he will not be getting surgery and that he is in early stage heart failure.
She told me that as if it were a matter of fact.
I was told to go to a cardiologist and see what he needs. (Which they didn’t even send his records to the right place after I told them where he was going. So the cardiologist didn’t have any of information.) Fast forward doing all of that, he is fine. He is a large cat and his heart is SLIGHTLY enlarged. He is NOT in heart failure and I do not know why any professional would tell a client that their cat is in heart failure when they’re not a cardiologist. I trusted what she said because she’s the professional. She should have said, I don’t know what’s going on but this isn’t normal so we should see a specialist before moving forward. That wasn’t the case for her, she sent me with a death sentence for the cat I love. So, no - I do not recommend this place. I went through a ton of heartache and emotional turmoil because of her. Incredibly unprofessional.
Additionally, I just received a phone call from the vet asking me about a refill for a prescription my cat never used. Let her know he wasn’t using it and I wasn’t sure why she’d be receiving a prescription refill request. She was to quick to get off the phone and didn’t offer an apology or want to discuss anything regarding what happened.
ALSO - he just had his surgery elsewhere. They were great and he did great. It was cheaper than this place quoted too. It’s been weeks since this all happened. He has healed from surgery and is a happy, healthy cat.
Don’t get caught up with the idea that it’s such a great place because it’s a cat only clinic, because apparently for specializing in only one animal that doesn’t mean you’re good at it.

Dr. Dell and her team are fantastic! They took amazing care of my senior orange cat and loved her just as much as I did, even when she was being an absolute brat towards them! My cat had many chronic health issues, and they were thorough and compassionate in their care of all her ailments.
I appreciate that this is a no-bark facility and that there's a great team of people working at this practice. The facilities are clean, safe, and accessible. With a small pharmacy onsite, I was able to get some of the medication I needed to support my cat's health at our appointments. Dr. Dell and her team were always ready to answer any questions or concerns I had with regards to my cat's health. I appreciate the care they show towards their patients, and will definitely bring my next cat to Dr. Dell!

Love this place!! They are so friendly, kind and knowledgeable. They treat my cats like their own. I recommend this vet to anyone who has cats! It is a bark free vet, they even have heated kennels and heated operation tables. Thank you Dr. Dell and team for all you do to keep our fur babies well!

Dr. Dell and her team are top notch care givers - clearly cat science and cat psychology experts. The overall atmosphere is calm and peaceful. My cat recently had some dental work done; Dr. Dell was patient and thorough with the diagnosis and explanation. Now, 24 hours after the procedure, Alice is racing around the house after her toys, as per usual. A feline-only practice makes all the difference to nervous cat patients. We've very lucky to have The Cat Vet of Hebron in our own community. If you're a cat parent, do stop by and see for yourself; say hello to Ms. Charlotte while you're there.

We were initially pleased with Dr Dell. However, the more we visited the more we began to feel she was mostly interested in $ than the health of our cats. She recommended our 15 year old male, neutered, extremely stress sensitive cat be put under anesthesia for a tooth removal. Quoted $400, charged over $700. Our cat developed a urinary blockage and needed emergency treatment the next day. She charged another $440. Unfortunately our precious Checkers did not recover, suffered immensely and had to be euthanized 24 hours later. We had a balance outstanding for the post op work she did. They didn't wait more than a couple days to start harassing us for payment of the $440. You would think someone who specializes in cats would know about male cat urinary blockage problems, and that our cat was a prime candidate for post op problems. She has caused immeasurable pain to our family that could have easily been prevented. Our cat was fine until we started taking him to Dr Dell. Now he's dead.
