I’ve been taking my 12 year old dog to Hebron Animal Hospital since I adopted her at 3 months old and came down with parvo. They’ve taken excellent care of her and made so feel so comfortable and informed. Dr Darby and the whole staff are so kind. I highly recommend.

We just had a male and a female kittens fixed should have gotten a estimate before we had it done they have looked after our animals for years and do a great job but I thought they were a little bit overly expensive on getting our kittens fixed have a friend that had the same procedure done at another clinic for less than half of what we had to pay for this but they do do a great job

Absolutely outstanding veterinary care! From the moment I adopted my dog that was a stray back in 2010, Donna, Stephanie, Karen, and the entire staff have been unwaveringly supportive, displaying remarkable kindness and genuine care in every interaction. Dr. Lloyd and Dr. Hale stand out for their exceptional dedication and expertise in ensuring my dog's wellbeing. Their comprehensive examinations, rooted in current research, have been instrumental in her journey from a severely emaciated state to a healthy dog. At about 15 years old, the dog is dealing with severe arthritis and signs of dementia in her later years. However, the doctors have tailored dietary recommendations and carefully selected medications, which notably improved her comfort and quality of life, allowing her to enjoy moments of youthful exuberance in her old age. In this difficult phase of her life, their professionalism, compassion, and constant support provide immeasurable comfort to both my dog and me. Their willingness to extend guidance and recommendations showcase their exceptional commitment for over fifteen years. We are grateful beyond words for their unwavering dedication!

My family has been bringing their pets here since I was a young child. Certain providers such as Dr. Greenfield are great and considerate of both the pets and the owners. However;“Since January ‘23”, as reception said, though I have had an appointment since, they now charge a large deposit to even make an appointment. I have no idea why I would be forced to make a deposit now, as we had an appointment in February ‘23 which was paid for in full at the time of service— which they require. This should have been a huge red flag, but we made our most recent appointment anyways. More on that at the end.In recent years, they have become quite elitist. They change how they speak to you and the level of care they provide based on how you appear. I get disrespected when I go in dressed as a “younger” person, ie. in a hoodie, jeans, and beanie, as opposed to when I go dressed perhaps as you would for business casual. I don’t know if this is because they assume that you will have trouble paying, but the matter of affordability is ONLY brought up to us when we are dressed down. They also take less pains to explain what they are doing with your pet and why, as if your outward appearance is relative to your ability or desire to understand your pets care regimen. This time, the vet was both uninformative and inconsiderate. Not only did they not explain what a medication was, they did not ask if we would like it applied. They simply treated the animal without our informed consent and added it to the bill. No demonstration was given for the physically demanding at-home treatment plan, meaning people without a veterinary education are going to have to go online and trust Dr. Google to tell us what to do— the thing we paid to receive advice for from a vet in person. This is all because both the veterinarian and the technician were visibly in quite the hurry to be over with our visit. This brings us to the bill. They are much more expensive than the percentage of inflation would allow for, considering the years of service we have from them to compare to former prices. The recent price hike on top of the introduced deposit could stand to reason that they are losing customers, and I would not be surprised. They will certainly be losing myself, my roommate, and my extended family— over 8 pets worth of income for them, because we’ve had multiple poor experiences in the last two years as compared to the many, many good ones before. It hurts to give this place a 3/5, as there are truly great providers under their roof, who have given 6/5 star service in the past. But the administrative and attitude changes have reduced my opinion of them from the five stars I would’ve given them for the prior 15+ years of my patronage.

Found out today that our beloved Nugget has diabetes. The staff and doctors are so caring and really listen and help us through any concerns we may have.

The staff is friendly and caring. Night and day comparison to our previous vet. Instead of sitting in a waiting room with multiple other dogs they took us straight into our own room to meet with the dr. They got our pup in the same day and treated him with excellent care. They were patient and understanding. They explained things well and gave us clear care options.

We can’t say enough about the care both our dogs have received at Hebron Animal Hospital. We read about Dr. Lloyd’s extensive experience with repairing ACL injuries surgically as well as using stem cell therapy so we scheduled a consultation with him last month and felt so confident after talking with him we proceeded with both. Our dog is recovering well from his surgery and Dr. Lloyd and his staff have patiently and compassionately answered all our questions along the way.

We recently relocated and found this vet practice. So far, we have been pretty pleased. We prefer Dr. Hale or Dr. Porter. The vet techs are great. They usually take patients directly to an exam room - no long waits in the lobby (which is great).Flea control options are more limited, but it hasn't been an issue. There's never been a long wait for an appointment, which is a critical factor for us in choosing/keeping a vet. Additionally vet tech appointments are also easy to get, which is nice.Front office staff is friendly as well.

I have had only positive experiences at Hebron Animal Hospital. Staff are friendly and helpful. I have a working line German Shepard, and Dr David Hale is especially talented and knowledgeable with working dogs. They are reasonably priced, but I would stay with them even if prices were double the current rates

I have gone to Hebron Animal Hospital for about 15 years for treatment of my cats. I have been attended by nearly all of the vets there and they are all top-notch, professional, and caring in their practice. My most recent visit was for the checkup for my 16-year-old cat, Mitzi. Dr. Bueter and her assistant were very attentive, took their time looking her over, and answered any questions I had and made recommendations as needed. Mitzi is always easily stressed and this visit was no different. But once she saw that the Dr. was caring for her, she calmed down. The drive home was a lot calmer than the drive to the hospital. :-) Mitzi now is up-to-date on her vaccines and has had her teeth and her eyes checked. Hebron Animal Hospital is among the best animal-care places in the region.

I had an emergency with my small dog Lilly. My vet was closed and I tried Hebron Animal Hospital. Crystal answered the phone and got me in right away even though I am not their client. The entire staff was beyond kind and Dr. Hale was very reassuring and helpful. The "emergency" turned out to be an over protective owner (me) issue, but they put my fears to rest. Thank you!
