I have used this bank for a couple years and today is the last straw. Yet again they allowed a charge to go through THAT I DID NOT MAKE. It put my account at a negative balance even though I supposedly have overdraft protection. This is not the first time they have done this. I'll get a a random charge and not know it's there or it simply doesn't show up in my bank transactions. I check my account daily through their app. The charge won't show so I don't know it's there then they add overdraft fees to it that put my account into an even further negative balance. This isn't right. I know when my account doesn't have the funds for a purchase and I NEVER try to purchase anything I know I can't afford. They won't reverse the charges and keep claiming I'm in the wrong. Forget it. I'm closing my account and finding a new bank. I've given them so many chances and my patience is gone. Don't trust this bank. They've done me dirty so many times. I'm on disability and a strict budget. I can't keep doing this.

Very nice people and does not charge a monthly fee , I have other family members using this bank as well after I recommended them.was easy to withdraw some money, other banks act like it's their money you're trying to take. lol

I recently moved to Murray. I decided to set up a bank account in my new home town. I asked around and eventually found some locals that talked so highly about The Murray Bank. I first entered the bank and noticed they were packed( this seemed like a good sign). After almost hour of waiting( which was totally fine) I finally got to talk to the lady about opening a checking account. 1st the lady didn't even smile( she may have had a bad day who knows). 2nd the lady was unacceptably rude to me. Since I had just moved to Murray my drivers license had not been changed to a Kentucky residency( apparently a huge ordeal). So eventually after dealing with 10 minutes of rudeness she tells me she needs a copy of my lease. I spend 20 minutes on my phone only to find out that she needed a hard copy. Then she proceeded to basically tell me how I didn't understand anything. She continued to rant while I proceeded to stand up and leave I was very displeased with the service and she will not be getting my families business nor will I recommend the Murray Bank to anyone.

This is a great hometown bank. Can't beat the friendly service! I like their Murray Club with free LifeLock ID protection.
