I use the pharmacy for my mother-in-laws cancer medication and they always keep her medicine on hand. I never have a issue with different generics. They keep the same ones she is use to Taking. And they are always friendly and professional which means a lot to myself. Let's not for get the odds and ends we need on the wayfrom work as we stop at the pharmacy going home. They have just about anything I need and even things I see that I pick up. So Walgreens in Hazard Ky is a 5 star ? out of 5 stars ✨.

My husband and I have been loyal customers of Walgreens (formerly Rite Aid) pharmacy for years. However, that stops today. Reasons are:#1 - Since the name change they have lost my prescriptions, told me they were not called in, etc. Many times. I’ve gotten calls stating my prescriptions were there, drive all the way there from Wooton to learn that they weren’t. My prescriptions aren’t opioids or anything like that. They’re an antidepressant and sometimes antibiotics.#2 - My husband went today for his: the lady at the window was extremely rude to him and said that the doctor had not called it in - which I know he did before we left the hospital. I then called the drs office and told them that we needed to have them sent to another pharmacy. Unfortunately, since it was already called in to Walgreens, they couldn’t do it until the Dr got back into the office.Hopefully my husband will get the antibiotics he needs after his surgery tomorrow ?.Besides that: The store associates are great! And yes, they do have the cheapest alcohol. I’ll still shop at the store, but I won’t use that pharmacy again.

Erica blonde lady at the front desk walked right in front of my husband and I, did not even say a word... ignored us and continued to pull out her cellphone like it didn't matter and did not say hello or try to help us at all. Super disrespectful. Josh another associate had to help us and was polite. Erica you need to mind your manners and learn some customer service I hope your boss sees this review and takes corrective action for you. Sorry bout cha.

Twice now Ive called to see if they have my meds and both times the answer was yes but both times when i go in they have told me they just filled the last one. Every time i deal with this place they treat me like a bum. I will never ever shop here again. And im telling everyone i no all about it.

These jerks would not fill my prescription because it's been over three months. I have been a loyal rite aid customer. Despite the fact that they are quite possibly the slowest pharmacy I have ever seen. They don't care about there patients, and apparently this particular pharmacist is rather judgmental about people who who has had addiction problems. To tell someone you can't fill there medication because it's been more than 90 days is pretty judgmental and very unprofessional and extremely bad customer service especially when you have always used there pharmacy I will never get any of my medicine there again seeing how they treat you like your just a dollar, and couldn't care one bit about there customers health. In all that's the sorriest excuse I have ever heard as to why you wouldn't fill medicine for someone who has been a loyal customer and for that I hope rite aid will do the right thing condemn this pharmacist and or replace her with someone that has compassion and isn't so judgmental if this battle axe is married god bless her partner because this trash is part of the reason there is an opioid epidemic because people like this want to make it tough as possible for those trying to get help. I bet if it was a narcotic they would fill it. I wonder what pharmaceutical company is providing kick backs to this so called pharmacist and I'm sure she will burn in hell for her mistreatment and betrayal of customers

I paid cash for my meds and after excuse after excuse and a week later i finally got my money back. The pharmacist worked hard to figure out how to give me my money. I was so relieved. So im giving them another 2 stars.

Best pharmacy and staff hands down. Always friendly and helpful. Wait time on prescriptions are a lot shorter then other pharmacies also. The store has great sales and cheapest price on alcohol.
