The staff at HAH are wonderful. They are loving and caring with the animals. Explanations are detailed and easy to understand. Options for treatment are discussed in detail with pros and cons. Everyone from the front desk ladies, to assistants, to the vets truly care.

They saved our babies life!! Dr. Alex, her husband and their staff worked tirelessly to make sure our baby, Peach, was taken care of. She had to have a long surgery and we were given updates the whole time. I couldn’t ask for a better experience at a vet, especially when we were dealing with a major emergency. I will recommend them forever! I would also like to special shout out the nurse that helped us get Peach into our car. You are a superstar!!!

We recently switched vets after hearing such amazing things about this clinic and had our first appointment for our newest family member last week. We are picky fur parents (I am not ashamed to say). The team was so amazing not only with our baby but also with us. Dr. Alex was so great!! You felt welcomed and peace as soon as you enter the facility. It was clean and so pleasant. I felt that the staff truly cared for our furbaby and wanted to make sure we were fully educated on all steps and processes! They took their time and made our baby comfortable which in turn made us, as parents relaxed and comfortable! We can not thank them enough for all they did and we look forward to the continued care there for our babies. I give them all the starts and then some. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing vet & team!

I would give this office 10 stars if I could! We recently moved to Cincinnati but continue to bring our 5 dogs to Harrodsburg regularly to see Drs. Turcotte. They and their staff treat our pups exactly like I'd hope any professional would. They're kind, incredibly accommodating, and have saved us a few times with getting last-minute vaccines for boarding. I truly can't recommend this office and staff enough.

I have truly never been more disgusted and appalled at a business in my life. My college aged family member who just moved to Harrodsburg brought his 13 year old dog in who was near death. He couldn’t stand and was basically unconscious. It was clear he didn’t have much time but he wanted to do anything he could for his friend. Harrodsburg Animal Hospital took Harley back for tests and he died within 25-30 mins of arriving at the hospital. He died while they were doing the “tests”— my family member didn’t get to be with him because I guess they were doing their best to do everything with a dollar sign they possibly could before he perished. $1100 for less than an hour total spent in this office and a dog that passed. I could see if he stayed in the hospital for hours or overnight..but thirty minutes? And what’s even better? We called to ask for an explanation for the charges—why an emergency fee AND critical care fee? She was told the vet would call her back, yet he never once called and gave us any peace. He had an assistant call and “explain what he explained to her”. Says a lot about how they feel about their own charges when they can’t even defend them to you on their own. This is not a question of if they “legally” could charge all of those fees; it’s a question of ethics and how a place of business that takes an oath to serve can charge $1100 for a dog that died within 30 minutes of being in their care. Don’t patronize this practice unless you want to be squeezed dry of every possible fee they can tack onto your bill.

The absolute best! I’m always able to get appointments quickly and have never waited to be seen once we arrive. The most loving and knowledgeable staff and vets that take their time with your pets, and you, to explain everything and provide care above and beyond expectations.

Drs. Thomas and Alex are excellent veterinarians and their care for our girl has been amazing. The friendly staff has always made our visits enjoyable. If you are in the Boyle, Mercer area and looking for an excellent practice...this is the one!

Vet and vet techs are kind, efficient, knowledgeable, take time to explain things so you understand whay us going on with your pet.Very easy to work with when getting them scheduled in. Glad to have found them and have them take care of my pets.
