Chris Ford is a scam artist not a mechanic! I recommend finding ANYONE else to do your vehicle or boat repair. My boyfriend has taken his truck there multiple times. FORD A REPAIR claims to fix the issue but over the past two years, the truck (2004 with 200 thousand miles) has spent more time at Ford A Repair then at our home. Weeks go by and he doesnt ^fix" it and has you buy parts that dont "fix" it. But on multiple occassions, while in his possession to be "fixed", has left windows down, hood raised, doors ajar and I have even caught him with the truck hooked to his pontoon a few times. But yet we buy more parts for him to replace them with used parts or even the wrong size parts. I could on and on about our horrible experience.CHRIS FORD we will see you in court. Our pics and receipts will take care of your ass so that you can't scam anyone else!

We came to Grand Rivers for the weekend and ended up with brake trouble. I searched for a local place, and found a review on Forda garage and the owner. Chris went above and beyond getting our car back on the road! We had plans in town and Chris got us to and from, So we was still able to enjoy our weekend. His price was very reasonable \u0026 He is the kind of person that doesn't know a stranger! He also gave us tips on local things to do! We highly recommend this place! Thanks Chris for your help!

I can't say enough about Chris. We were from out of town halfway through a road trip and had a bad wheel bearing. Friday afternoon Chris took the time out of his day to put a new wheel bearing in for us and get us back on the road. Chris is a true gem and you don't find many people willing to help out others like he did for us. Sail on Chris!!

Chris has done extensive work on my car over the last couple of years, and more recently on my boat. He definitely knows what he's doing, and he is honest, fair and trustworthy. He is well known in this region of Kentucky and everyone I've talked to speaks just as highly of him. I can recommend him without any hesitation whatsoever.

My husband and I were out of state for a special occasion when our van began acting up. It was slipping and stalling. We didn't have a clue what to do. The employees at Patti's Inns and Suites suggested we call Chris Ford to help us out. Wow! That turned out to be an answer to our prayers! Chris came and met us on the highway and we followed him to his shop. He put our vehicle at the head of a busy line of customers and said he would see what needed to be done. He had someone drive us on to our evening at Patti's while he kept the van to work on it. He even had someone pick us up afterward and take us back to his shop to get the van. NO EXTRA CHARGE for the time and effort! He said it was fixed well enough to get us home, then told us what would need to be done for a permanent fix. We made it home with no problems and got the needed repairs just like he said. We are so grateful for his caring attitude and all he did to make our evening turn out wonderful in spite of the circumstances. He runs a 5 star repair shop, but he is a 10 star person. Can't recommend him highly enough. Hope you will get the word out that he is a repair man you can count on and trust.

Chris Ford at Ford'a Repairs is personable, hospitable, and HONEST. We had our power steering go out and were stranded at motel 6 for several days waiting for a pump and reservoir to arrive. When it arrived, he had it replaced within a couple of hours, and he fixed some hoses that were damaged that we missed. We thought he was going to charge us much more because we were from out of town. I can't say enough about him. A++

The guys who worked here saved our day! Had a bad tire that was gonna pop and couldn’t make it home. They took us in on Easter even when they weren’t really open and helped us get a new tire since we had no spare. Funny as well!

Excellent service. We called after hours when our F350 transmission was having trouble while towing a 30-ft trailer. Even though we didn't leave a message, Chris called back after 5 pm, drove to where we were, unhooked the truck and towed our trailer to our campsite in Land Between the Lakes. We had no cell service at the campground, so Chris gave us rides to and from town, and even drove us 26 miles into Paducah to get a rental car. He really cares about people and we saw him treat older folks with great care and concern. Locals said he's the only one they'll let touch their cars. Chris tried to fix the transmission but determined that we needed a new one. He even tried calling the dealership in Arizona to get help for the faulty unit. His shop is a small, country business, but he really knows his stuff. If we didn't live in Arizona, he'd be our new mechanic! He treats others the way he wants to be treated.

Very nice people. Answered questions very well. Gave samples of various dishes. Took us in when other rest wouldn't. Ordered a burger. But burger and fries were very fresh and even tomatoes were home grown. Tasty. Will definitely Try them Again. Wish them Well

This place is a casual dining hidden gem. It is in a renovated gas/service station. It is really good! Go!
