The staff and vets here are amazing! Dr. Claudia is super busy yet managed to deliver excellent care and correspondence to my fur baby! I am new to Kentucky and if you are new to the area look no further!! The price is extremely fair and upfront even with x rays and care it was priced fairly for the budget minded patients. The other staff is amazing and so friendly too! Best vet experience I’ve had in any state anywhere and when your dog is your child like mine, it means the world to have doctors and staff that go the extra mile!! If I could give 10 stars I would!! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A VET GO HERE!!

Dr Claudia took care of shots for my 8 week old puppy. Very gentle with her, and explained everything to us.

If I could give zero stars I would. Last night just before midnight our 4 year old Basenji Kobe got sprayed by a skunk. I rushed to google and it said if they are sprayed in eyes and mouth seek emergency help immediately! I called our vet at Veterinary Medical Center 629 Grandview Ave. Glasgow, Ky and left a message to get seen ASAP! No return call. We got through the incident as best we could. I expected a call from them this morning with apologies, but no phone call. There is NO excuse for this type of treatment! I called this morning and got an apology. Too little, too late. I found a new vet this morning and had all of our 2 dogs records emailed to them. Kobe is being seen by them now. We could have lost our precious fur kid at the hands, or lack there of an inadequate Veterinary Clinic.

Every single person that works here is amazing. I will never go anywhere else if I have a choice in the matter. The care and compassion we have received over the years with our animals goes above and beyond any other vet I have gone to in previous years. We have found our furever place to bring our babies. Easy 5 stars.

I feel these are compationate people who really care about your pet. they are the best. I would recommend the clinic to anyone.
We have been going to this office for almost 20 years with everything from dogs, cats, lizards, birds.
Doc, Sandy, Randy, the Twins and all who work there are just great people.

FANTASTIC!! Right when you walk in there's interesting things all over the walls such as a pic of Dr Heltsley with a cat in front of a boa constrictor....you have to see it!! Dr Perkins and his assistant saw Toby (our 2 yr old shih-tzu) for an ear infection. We've been on a 5k trip around the U.S and this little dog had been chewing on his feet, licking his nose, scratching his ears till they bled! It ended up being a inner ear yeast infection. He gave us meds but what I appreciated the most is Dr P explained everything to me on my level so I understood. He let me know theres nothing I did wrong even though I felt like a bad fur moma. I have NEVER liked vets as much as I do Dr P & Dr H.
Plus Mrs Heltsley works there too at the front desk and I don't think I've ever met a nicer person in my life! Also quick thank you to Hailey for her help!

I wanted to leave a review of this place a month or so ago, but it slipped my mind. We bought a hamster from Petsense (Don't buy from Petsense, buy from PetCo) and he had wet tail disease. By the time we noticed it, we tried Vitamin B shots, and different treatments but it was too late. It was best just to put Pandy out if his suffering. The afternath from this vet was amazing. The doctor was very comforting, and the post card we got afterward was tear jerking. Every member of the staff on that day signed a card commemorating our friend Pandy. My wife still breaks it out every now and then, and it makes her cry. I will NEVER take any animal I ever have to a different vet. That little post card solidified them inti my heart. Thank you all so much.

Best place ive ever been but when there is a day you are not opened put it on the web so ever body knows i understand taking a day off cause i get days off myself and im not used to the days i get off but just fix it on internet but thanks you all for the honestly and hope you all will stand for what you all do and like i said best place ive ever been to hands down

Have been going to VMC For between 35 and 40 years and have been completely satisfied. They have always treated our fur babies like family taking extremely good care of them. I trust no one else.

I loved this place. I trusted this place. I had 2 furbabys I always took here. I loved the staff too. Loved everything about it. They had a emergency number and everything. Its been over a yr. The emergency man. If yall have called the emergency number you know who Im talking about. Which he was sometimes in the office too. He told me my boy had just ate too many snacks it sounded like. I was worried to death. So after calling the emergency number twice and not getting a bring him here well check him out I had to drive all the way to louisville the emergncy center there and he died. I do know that if I hadnt of wasted time driving to louisville my boy probably couldve been saved. I really hope theyve gotten a better emergency team there now or gotten rid of this vet that has no concern for peoples pets in emergency situations. The man was always so rude. He was not a animal person. I will forever ble him for not helping me and my boy. Always.

I brought my dog up here the first part of December for a cyst that she had on the back of her neck. I live a little over a hour away and was told by a family member that lives there about her vet. She needed surgery and I was quoted by my vet almost $1200.00 for her surgery. When I brought her up here and they did the surgery on her it was 543.00. A huge difference!!! I loved both vets she saw here in the first visit it was Dr. Atkinson and Dr. Perkins is the one that did her surgery. The staff is always so friendly and helpful when I have needed answers. This will be where I bring her from now on even though it’s an hour away. I’m so glad I brought her up here. ??❤️❤️
