I bought a male hamster from this petco that turned out to be a pregnant female. I raised the babies to 3 weeks and called them to bring the babies back since they are at fault. The woman I talked to was very rude, had poor customer service skills and refused to take them back. She was no help at all and had no care at all that they incorrectly sold me a pregnant female. Now stuck with 5 hamsters. Anyone looking to buy a hamster in the next few weeks can get one free from me!

Petco is not what it used to be. No pets are available except fish. The selection of fish is poor. Don't ask for training aids such as wireless fences or collars for hunting dogs. Vests and packs were not to be found. There was a selection of crates, though. So I have to assume by the choices given Petco would rather you cage your dog in a small cage instead of letting them run. So unless you are looking for light grooming supplies or food, other stores nearby have a much better selection and better prices. It's 5 days till Christmas. I was the only shopper in the store. Everywhere else I went was packed with people.

this is the best petco i’ve ever been to, growing up with animals my whole life and now having some of my own, you can definitely bet i been to many petco’s and petsmart’s and other pet stores. none of them are this good, this petco is very clean, not just where people and pets walk, but all the pets in there is very clean as well and the cages are very clean to, and all the animals are very lively and happy, they have chickens, even a bath station for people to bring there fur babies to bath them, i’ve never seen that in a petco before, and obviously they have the usual, like fish, snakes, cats, turtles, other animals. when me and my husband went there it was so amazing to see clean cages and happy animals but the best part about it all was to see all the cats was adopted, and probably bc they are well taken care of and happy and lively so people wanted them bc they know that they are well token care of.

Absolutely ridiculous. I ordered online for in-store pickup, nothing but problems! I send my husband to go pick up my order, however, their inventory was off and they didn't have one of the flea meds I ordered and paid for. They cancelled that half of the order, however I wanted the whole order cancelled as I was just going to get both dogs the same flea meds. Cashier said no problem and was supposedly going to fix it. My husband gets home, I check the order, it says he picked up 1/2 of the meds I ordered, that I was assured would be cancelled and taken care of. My husband never picked up the order, it was supposed to be cancelled. He then goes back the next day after work, after speaking with the cashier already about him just needing to bring his debit card and they'd issue a refund. The manager tries saying they can't do it and it needs to be merch credit, again, this is all due to their numerous mistakes! One by confirming my husband picked up the order and two by saying it was going to be cancelled altogether. He had to argue with the woman and finally got cash back. The incompetence is out of this world! And from a manager!!! If folks would keep up with their inventory and know procedures, it'd avoid a lot of chaos!

Love the fact that Mary really knows what she is doing with all animals especially the reptiles. Store is always clean, the employees are always helpful and knowledgeable.
