“I was moving here and needed some furniture for my home until things arrived. Needed chairs and a table. I was able to purchase these items and the owner was so nice. I did have to put my purse in a locker and it was locked and i had the key, so the unlocked purse complaints must be due to a miscommunication or change in policy. It is good that the policy is for all people. You never know who is going to steal and they must have had some issues with this in the past. There are some really cute items there and i bought more than i needed and am happy with my purchases. Will go again and i wish people did not steal, especially from small businesses that cant recoup the money as easily.”
“We had an amazing experience! We stayed in the Peace N the Vally cabin with 2 kings and a very plush sofa. We came down looking for a budget friendly weekend trip for my birthday and got a surprise engagement from my wonderful now fiancé! The wonderful Hosts were so lovely and accommodating and everything was so individualized with such an eclectic style that I’m so in love with! The little shop is cute and the camps many animals are so friendly especially if you’re missing your own furry friends. Feels like even though you’re away from home you are home. Was gifted some fresh eggs and tomato’s from the farm even a small birthday trinket and with lots of things and each cabin being different we’ll be visiting again I think we’ve found a very special spot made even more sentimental for us with it being where we’ve got engaged!Playground: They had so many options for kids we didn’t bring ours but will be in the future even had a little train pulled by a golf cart for them to be entertained while the adults chitchat by the fire lots of toys even a kids house to play in all their own. Not gonna lie we all got on the trampoline a couple times there is a bike shack but just gotta check with the hosts if the tires are flat over all would be a dream for a kid for a couple day trip!Restrooms: Only 2 bathrooms communal bathrooms for the whole camp each individual stalls with shower toilet sink and the ladies even has a washer but if the whole place isn’t full it’s not bad to share there’s plenty of lights to walk to and from and is extremely stocked up with pretty much anything you could need and most of the time if not the host may have it or be able to get it for you they’re so helpfulPicnic area: So many different cooking things every where from fire pits to grills to the stuff in the cabins and with so many different spots to sit and eat or enjoy the nature beautiful landscaping and so many things to look at everywhere I love the little fountain in the middle and my fiancé proposed at the back fire pit and was so romantic and even though there was another very large family having a gathering at the other fire pit in the front of the lot everything was still so privet and no one bothered us at all”
