Soapy Joe's Car Wash is a convenient location in Georgetown that offers both self-service bays and an automated touchless wash. Customers appreciate the good water pressure and the clean, well-lit environment. The self-serve options help cars look nice, which is especially helpful for those preparing for special occasions or visits, such as tours at the Toyota plant. However, the self-service bays are considered somewhat pricey, with a $3 starting fee and an additional $4 for four minutes of water, which some find steep. The touchless wash effectively removes bird droppings and dirt, making it a good quick option, though it may leave some residue and is seen as just okay overall. During certain seasons, especially after winter, the place tends to have long wait times, so patience is advised. One common issue is the card reader, which often struggles to accept payments and can lead to delays. The facility is suitable for those who want a quick spray or need to reclaim silkscreens, but visitors should be aware of potential wait times and the limited scope of cleaning.
The vacuums suck! Or they don't suck, lol, as they don't pick up the dirt!!

Great wash, but expect to have a long, long wait anytime following the winter season. In other words, don't be in a rush if you plan to go around that time. Be patient!😁
