They are very thorough with what they will provide and what an author must do. Also, they were very accessible, and still are. My book came out nearly two years ago. Finishing Line Press likes and retweets my tweets; my other publishers do not.

It has been two years since my collection, Deja Vu, came out. I had a good experience with the process. All the steps were clearly outlined and proceeded pretty much on schedule. The book came out within a month of the original due date. As a former bookseller I know that new released and even reprints get delayed all the time even with big publishers and that it is best to set your expectations and released party with that in mind. I am in love with the cover design and I get compliments on the feel of the cover (matte) as well. And two years in I am still ordering additional copies to sell at readings and regional shops.

Committed to publishing top quality poetry books--and they accepted mine! But I had studied the press long and hard before I submitted it. Beautiful books, fair process, open reading period.

I am very pleased with how my book turned out. I also greatly appreciate that FLP took the initiative to attain an ISBN number and place my book on Amazon.
