This shelter goes above and beyond for the welfare of the dogs and cats. The staff is extremely responsive and gives full attention and support while fostering one of their dogs. They considered our home and dog carefully before matching us up to Diesel. I inquired about tick medication because we hike often and they DELIVERED it to my house the following day! Pretty impressive in my opinion. Renee came to our home and Diesel was excited to see her. She truly loves and cares for the animals. I’d highly recommend fostering and adopting from this shelter.

We took our cats to this shelter, they told us they can"t take any cats unless they are strays, we are unable to keep them because or dog can not get along with them,they offered to put them to sleep thought they were a no kill shelter, VERY SORRY PLACE.

I'm not sure how far from paintsville this is but my ex moved down there with one of our cats and i juat found out after a month that he is not taking care if him I need hemp im in nky ville

The times I went too see the animals the place was clean and they had so many dog's and cats needing homes please look for your pet their if you can. ? ? like a shelter they need help with things for the animals to eat and donations.

A tiny shelter where the entire staff has loving hearts of gold. They found a mutt puppy, scared, lost & wandering all alone. Scooping him up, they were determined he’d have a good life. And with that, sent him to a partner shelter in NJ. I met him, scooped him up 6 years ago, and have given him tons of love, and endless months of competition training. He now hold numerous AKC Titles in Rally, Obedience & Tricks. I can’t thank the staff enough for saving him. They are the best!
