The service department in Frankfort, Kentucky used to be known for its efficiency, but its current performance has been disappointing. There is an issue with the online service scheduler - customers can schedule appointments but cannot cancel them, which has been a long-standing problem. Currently, securing a service appointment requires a wait of two to three weeks. In the past, immediate service was available, with the option to schedule in advance when needed. If customer satisfaction cannot be achieved, it may be best to outsource the service provision to a third party. Timeliness is crucial, and scheduling a service appointment two weeks in advance is impractical.
On their website, there is a platform dedicated to asynchronous communication through a chat interface. This non-real-time interaction model allows users to submit inquiries, and the responses are typically delivered within one to two days. Their utilization of this technology is quite remarkable.
Firstly, I have noticed areas in the schedule performance that need improvement, which is of significant concern to me. The decision to limit the service window to 2 or 3 weeks suggests departmental management issues rather than concerns about service quality. Moreover, imposing an additional fee for post-service credit card payments differs from the standard practice in similar small businesses. It seems inappropriate for a larger company. Lastly, I believe the service department could greatly benefit from adopting more modern and automated management practices. I am hopeful that addressing these issues will improve the overall experience.

Christopher is so easy to work with and they had many options with financing options. They helped us find what we were looking for by asking us what type of vehicle and lifestyle we were trying to fit into.

I recently had my 2023 Corolla Hybrid in for a 10,000 mile check-up and oil change. Johnny was helpful, respectful and patient with some of my questions. The service took less than an hour and their waiting room was comfortable with coffee and donuts offered.

We purchased a used Hyundai Tucson 40 days ago. Although we asked for the car fax report they did not provide it until after the sale when we told them we found documents in the glove box saying that there a had been over $5000 in repairs at a collision center. They did nothing except say that they had serviced it and they could do nothing more. Now with less than 1000 miles since driving it, the car wouldn't go over 55 mph and started making noise. Found out from a local shop that it is the catalytic converter and the repair would be $4000. The dealership was notified and we were told they couldn't do anything and it was our responsibility. They sold us a lemon and are taking no responsibility. Would not recommend buying from them.

Every time we have brought either car here, the service has been great. They explain all your options to you clearly and don't pressure you into anything. We drive past another Toyota dealership to go here because they always treat you right.

After buying eight cars from Frankfort Toyota over the past decade, I can no longer recommend them. Here's why... I recently bought a Certified used Camry from them. A few weeks later, I took the car on its first road trip and discovered that the tires were out of balance at interstate speeds. I was told that my certified warranty wouldn't cover rebalancing the tires.A couple weeks later, I noticed that part of the rear window defroster wasn't working. I asked the dealership about that, and they said it was covered, and asked me to bring it in. I was then told that if they found any indication whatsoever that the problem was not a manufacturing defect that the repair wouldn't be covered, and that I'd owe them a $150 checkout fee! In other words, I would have to gamble. I also brought up the tire balance issue again, and got the following snarky, hateful, condescending response..."We are more than happy to repair your vehicle, [but] anything not covered by your Certified Warranty will be your responsibility to pay including quoted diagnostic fees, maintenance, tire balancing, etc. If you are okay with this, [then] we can move forward, and if not we have nothing further to discuss".Frankfort Toyota used to be different. They cared about, and worked with their customers in a spirit of fairness. Obviously, that is no longer the case. They are now just another callous, greedy dealership, hellbent on making their owners even more filthy rich than they already are. They don't deserve my business, and will never see me again. They don't deserve your business either. Go elsewhere...

They will rip you off and insult your intelligence. I took my vehicle here for several years but not anymore. One day I noticed when I used the 10% coupon, they jacked up the price of the service to offset the discount. In other words with or without discount the price comes out the same. So instead, next time I waited until they serviced my car first and at checkout I presented my coupon. The service cashier was noticeably annoyed and told me I needed to present the coupon before the car was serviced. I ignored that demand. Next time I did the same thing. Later, after paying I noticed they did not actually give me 10 percent off the total service. Instead they took 5% off parts and 5% off service. These folks are dishonest. If you can't honor your discount, why offer it? I've been going to A & J now in Lburg.Services: Oil change
