JCPenney is a large apparel and home furnishing retailer offering a wide range of national and private brands. Customers report positive experiences with helpful staff. Another customer was tremendously helped by a sweet and helpful employee. However, the Frankfort location has some notable issues. The store's lighting is described as extremely dim, making it feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming, almost like a haunted maze, and giving the appearance of being closed from the outside. Additionally, the handicap entrance is inconveniently labeled and difficult to locate. Despite these environmental drawbacks, the staff's helpful and kind service is a consistent highlight for shoppers.
