I've never been back "and never will" after they ripped off my wife. They took advantage of a woman who was worried about her car while her husband was at work. Charged over $350 for a code scan "free at the parts store" and 4 Autolite spark plugs $7.50 a piece at public cost "not including their garage discount". literally 30 mins worth of work. Highway Robbery in my opinion.

I had Douglas mount and balance four special order wide whitewall tires for my '57 Oldsmobile Starfire 98 convertible. They also aligned the front end. I am very satisfied with the service.

We were traveling from Indiana back to Georgia and had our catalytic converter stop working. Frank was able to get us a new muffler and on our way in less than 2 hours. Everyone was super friendly and so helpful getting us back on the road. The price was not out of range for what we would have paid at home. Highly recommend especially for emergency repairs! Thank you to everyone at Douglas Muffler Center!!

I’m from out of town, PA, on vacation and had a plugged AC drain hose, which was causing water to leak into the cabin. They were booked solid, but they squeeze me in and got me out fast so I could be back on the road.

I had a slow leak in one tire on a late model 2-seat sports car (American made with big fat runflats and no spare) when I was 550 miles from home and was referred to Douglas. These guys are great. They took the kind of care with my car that I would have myself. They found a small crack in the rim of that wheel and although they could not weld the cracked wheel themselves, they tried to find someone who could. Since my schedule was tight, they prepared me as best they could for the long trip home and I'm happy to say I made it without further incident. The cost was a a lot less than I expected. The people at Douglas were completely competent and friendly. If I needed tires or similar service near Frankfort, KY, this is where I'd go.

I'm so upset. I dropped my car off to replace the breaks and rotors and have an oil change only to be insulted with the quote they gave me, $1000 they wanted. I understand it's a business and that's how they make money , with that said i asked how much it would be to put the parts I buy on and they quoted me $200 so that means they wanted to charge me $800 for parts that i have now purchased for $240 for all four rotors and break pads. Oil is $40 max. Daniel was very informative about everything i had a question about but when it came to business I'm not very happy. Not to mention I now have a scratch on the side of my car that i was told things like " we are very busy , the way WE parked your car someone could have hit it on their way in or out of our parking lot, we dont have cameras, that was there before " i than had to stand there and have my intelligence questioned as i had to hear a grown man try and blow smoke up my a** as the other just stood there. I was offered if i had before and after pictures of my car (and i do) to call the owner to see if he would pay for THEIR mistake at a body shop , im sorry i understand there are people out there trying to screw people all the time i just never assumeed it would be a company of god, and i personal do not go out of my way to make stuff up. If you want to spend WAY to much and have damages to your vehicle because they're " really busy, or have no cameras" I recommend this place. I never did call the owner because I want nothing to do with that company again and the scratch is small it's just the principle. Forgot to mention the older lady at the front desk who was rude after I had called explaining why was returning to their company.
