NO MORE MOMMY GUILT!All 3 of our boys went to Goddard Ft. Mitchell over a 7 year period (and would have started going there sooner if we had only discovered it earlier)! Goddard is where I finally lost my “Mommy Guilt” because we realized our boys were getting far far more out of their Goddard experience than what we could have offered them by one of us being a stay-at-home parent. The social, emotional, and academic development that Goddard helped facilitate in each of our boys exceeded all our expectations. Each of our boys has transitioned so well into public Kindergarten, has been SO well prepared for it, and we are so so grateful to Juliana and all of the teachers at Goddard who have become like family to us over the past 7 years. The teachers. There is no question that they have one of the most critical, challenging, exhausting, and yet under-paid roles in our entire economy. The Goddard staff are what makes this school so special. There is a strong culture of compliance with not just the state regulations, but also the Goddard policies and procedures—doing the right thing at all times even when it’s not easy. These teachers balance it all—and do it with a genuine love for these kids. I cannot say enough good things about the work these teachers are doing to prep these kids for life beyond preschool.❤️❤️❤️

They are amazing! Teachers are amazing and really good with the kids. I think they do an incredible job at disciplining the right way and not allowing the kids to do whatever they want. The kids always seem like they are having lots of fun and they enjoy being dropped off in the morning, except of course when the mom drops off. That never goes well for kids. I guess they really really like mom?. Anyways really really good school for learning, playing, and real world living. The children even learn sign language at an extremely young age which is incredible!

My son went to this school for 2 years. We had been happy there for the most part despite the class sizes being really large. Most of the staff was friendly and kept the kids engaged and my son formed great friendships. But some staff came off as aloof, flat in expression, or often looked exhausted. I think the kids could've played outside more often. We left for financial reasons then wanted to return for summer care. I called in the fall and was told by the director that she would call me when she has the final count down on whether there was room. Months went by. I called at least 4 times with it going to voicemail (twice the mailbox was full and I couldn't leave a message) and texted her twice asking if she could confirm care or not. No response. I called recently trying to talk to someone and was told they'd take my name and have the director call me. No response. I called the next week and after several tries talked to a very curt and rude woman (who's name I won't say here) who cut me off as soon as I expressed how I've been trying to reach them about summer care. All I got was a defensive attitude, a rude tone, and no answer about whether care was available, just hints that they were full, nothing CLEAR. Then she HUNG UP ON ME. I called back to say she forgot to take my name and number to give to the director and she cut me off again, rudely saying, "I have your name and number on caller ID." Then hung up again. I found this whole thing left a terrible impression on me and I will not be referring the school to anyone. If the staff is that irresponsible about a phone call and being responsive to inquiring parents, what else goes by the wayside? All I needed was a kind and simple ANSWER like, "Oh, I apologize, but we are full for summer. I thought we had space but turns out we don't." That's IT. A simple text, a call back, answer the phone. VERY unprofessional which is a shame because I believe the school is decent.

My son has been enrolled here for 6 months and we’re extremely happy with the facility, staff and activities the school offers. The teachers are kind and patient and seem to know all of the children. They do regular art activities, enjoy outside playtime, story time, music and physical activity for a well rounded experience. The daily photo and daily report are awesome and allow us to reiterate the lessons our child learned at school in our home. We plan on sending our second child here when the time comes!

Incredibly poor customer service and very unprofessional when I had an issue with my child at the center. The childish manner in which the administrator acted was ridiculous when I addressed my concern with her.
