“My card was declined while I was at Kroger so I called customer service who told me to go into my local branch. I was told there was a hold on my account which was due to a check I tried to deposit through the mobile app. I had no access to my funds until this would be resolved. One of the employees told me I had wait until the following Monday for them to try and fix the account because the check had to be processed. I was very worried because all of the money I have is in that checking account and I had rent and a few other bills due that week.While I waited the weekend, I did some research which had me even more worried. Apparently lots of other people have ran into something similar with their own bank (Chase, Citibank, etc.) but I couldn’t find anything that mentioned US Bank. One person had their account on hold for 7 months before they had access to their money again. This had me worried all weekend about what I was going to do since I have 4 young children and no way to access my money. I was preparing for the worst.My wife and I received a call to come to the local branch who had granted me access back to my account. The Manager and the employee Aaron went above and beyond for us. I was not expecting anything to be resolved that fast from the stories I have read from people with other banks. Aaron made sure everything was setup and good to go before we left. We were very relieved and grateful it was figured out. I normally wouldn’t write up a review for something like this, but my wife and I do feel as though if we went into any other location this would have never been resolved. This location has great management and employees who are willing to help which is a rare find nowadays. I will never go to any other US Bank besides this one from now on.”
