I normally do not write reviews but I am highly dissatisfied with the customer service I received at this home Depot location. I went in looking for door knobs. I just purchased a home. I asked the guy if he could help me. He said he was busy and I should go look for somebody. I looked for somebody and he said he's not an expertise in it but he would get somebody in hardware to help me. I waited 15 minutes and no one showed up. Then I went to the paint desk and asked if they could find somebody to help me. They called the manager and said they would send somebody. I waited another 15 minutes and no one showed up so I left.

Joe behind the service desk gets stuff done. He is one of the nicest people I've ever met and when I threw a problem at him he solved it immediately.
I cant praise him enough. His patience and tact is the 5 star review. Home depot is a 3.
If there are multiple joes, this was on Halloween 10/31/24 around 3pm. He helped with with a chainsaw after a hour on the phone with customer care who ultimately told me to call the store.
Joe got shit done in 5 minutes.

Went to purchase new cub cadet riding mower, new dishwasher and new weed eater. Picked out mower had some questions, looked and looked for an employee, went to service desk they requested assistance no body ever showed up. In the appliance section the 2 employees in that department were too busy discussing how expensive dining out to help me. So took my $6000 elsewhere

Unacceptable service from The Home Depot.
Was just notified that I would have to wait a 3rd whole month for delivery of my refrigerator that I purchased in June 2024.
After receiving a defective refrigerator on July 26th (1 month), I was told that a replacement would be delivered August 21st (2 months). When they failed to deliver the replacement on the August 21st after calling twice that day, I had to call them a third time to find out that my delivery was delayed until August 28th. On August 28th, I had to call once again to find out my delivery was once again delayed until September 25th (3 months).
The funny thing is, if I went to order a new one, Home Depot shows delivery will occur by September 18th. Meanwhile I am making payments on a useless hunk of metal & plastic taking up space in my kitchen.
I will be shopping at Lowe's from now on.

When you call as many vendors as our company does it is rare to come across an employee that checks all the boxes. It's rarer to find an employee that shows you some qualities you weren't aware existed. A pro desk associate by the name of (Erin) does this repeatedly. Whenever I call the Home Depot in Florence KY, she makes me feel like we are in this together. I have never called the store and felt like I was inconveniencing her, even when I can tell by the background noise that I am. Erin is detailed oriented, confident, proactive, reliable, honest, and hardworking. Home Depot could use more employees with this kind of passion.

The lady at the tool rental is rude and ignorant. Her name is Michelle Pedraza. Store manager put right person in the front if you care about the customer service.

very rude employee when he blocked my vehicle in with cones to load someone else then got aggressive and rude when asked if he could move then so i could get out since they were not currently loading anyone they were awaiting for that customer to pay still.

Builder's Square... Remember them? ....Well how about "Home Quarters"? You remember them, "..... HQ to the Rescue....."!?! These two are out of business now because their owners and investors made bad mistakes such that they made the demise of these companies sure. Imagine for just a minute making a $700 MILLION DOLLAR investment in a business and have it fold two years later through total liquidation...? You start by not making mistakes as younger investors. Mark Zuckerburg is a wealthy man, but he is STILL paying for mistakes he made "back in the day...". I'm going to bring forth one now. Home Depot is a very good business. But the use of some of their delivery services is suspect. I purchased about $1K in kitchen cabinets. This one guy, delivered what I purchased to my home. The service is called "Roadie". This person delivered my merchandise used his own truck, left it in front of my garage door. THEN... he forged my signature on the document that said I received my merchandise. If "lack of respect" was a sound, about the chase from a row of Georgia State Patrol cars chasing a suspect. Absolutely deafening. The delivery person FORGED my signature. That is a criminal offense. I do NOT trust "Roadie" to deliver as much as a chip of paper to my house. I am owed an apology for this at the least. "Roadie" is to never touch my merchandise again..... Ever!!!

I ordered online and picked up in store but the staff was great and prompt about retrieving my order. He even helped me load it onto my trailer. Thank you.
