I went for a haircut today. Checked in online, it was easy. When I arrived, I was greeted by Tonya in a friendly manner. She listened to what I wanted and did an excellent job. She was very pleasant throughout the service.

I typically avoid these type of salons for various reasons, the time limit they are given, the quick turnover of stylists, etc.. My son is also biracial and some stylists are not experienced with his type of hair. However, we received a coupon in the mail for a $4 haircut & considering most barbers are charging $30-$40 for a haircut, I took advantage of the savings and bit the bullet. The stylists name was Jade, I think, she had dark brown hair & her workspace was located in the back, left corner near the bathrooms. Jade was great with my neurodivergent 3 yr old boy, as well as, the young boy whose hair she was cutting before us. Both boys got a taper fade, which were evenly cut with excellent precision. She may need a lil more training on cleaning up the edges on African American textured hair, but after requesting her to shape his more cleanly , she made a few adjustments and his hair looked great when she was finished. She's very talented and will do very well out on her own one day. She actually took her time with both haircuts and did not seemed too concerned about the time limit their corporate office gives them to complete a cut. She obviously cared more about her clients and the end result, instead of the crazy 15 minute limit I've heard that they are alotted for one cut.. The store was nice and clean with a modern aesthetic. I gave them 4 stars because of the corporate policies, otherwise I would've given them 5 stars. You can't beat the price. I would recommend anyone go there if they need a quick and affordable trim..
