“Best chorizo, flank steak, tortillas, and freshly made tacos in Kentucky.If you come early on the weekends you can buy some freshly made tamales. Or grilled spatchcocked chickens. The best smelling parking lot in the area. Come extra early because they are bought by the dozens. They sell out fast.I have purchased chorizo from many markets between Florence and Fairfield, this one is my favorite.The staff cuts the meats fresh in store most of the time,Everyone is generally nice.You can order almost any kind of tacos and they are freshly made to order. And they are not greedy with the salsa.You can shop around and pick up some groceries and snacks while you wait.I have never had a disappointing taco from this spot.Occasionally you can get elotes made fresh too. Or fresh mango sliced up with tasty toppings.Delicious.Well worth the trip and then some.P.S.Avoid the "restaurant" next door. On either side ?”
“my family and I have been going here for years. they make the best goetta around with a great flavor. the goetta is not too salty and not greasy.we also love the sausages, steaks and poultry.on every visit, we like to take home pin wheels. they are prepared steaks stuffed with cheese and mushrooms. they are so delicious cooked on a griddle or cast iron skillet.this year Eckerlin moved locations and added a meat tasting room. we're super excited about this and we tried it for the first time today. the burger was excellent and the fries were very well prepared. good beers on tap too.”

“Nice corner store with all sorts of various convenience items. They also have a soda fountain and small fishing tackle selection.The biggest difference to corner stores are their deli, meat, and produce selections.Some of the finest goetta, and well known for it. Well worth a visit.”
“We are from Texas and we’re in town visiting. I called in an order for a specific cut on some beef short ribs for a Korean style BBQ dinner. I looked up butchers in Cincinnati and saw a link to Avril & Bleh. When placing my order they asked all the right questions about what I wanted and how I wanted it. We opened the meat when we got home and it was perfectly cut to our request. After cooking the meat it was tender and delicious and I couldn’t ask for a better experience from the butchers. Great job guys and when we come back into town, we know where to go.”
“My dad used to be friends with the founder of Queen City Sausage. My dad delivered livestock to all the slaughterhouses and knew first hand who used quality animals and who didn't. I grew up eating hot dogs, metts and brats from Queen City Sausage. I'm now in my sixties and they still make the only hot dog that I can eat straight out of the package. I pretty sure Elmer is still keeping an eye on his creation, so the quality is still there.”

“Wow! I am so very sorry I hadn't stopped here before two weeks ago! On my first visit, I purchased the Truffle & Tarragon chicken sausage, and I am not kidding—it's the best chicken sausage I've had in my whole life. Truthfully, it might actually be the best chicken I've had in my life! It was amazing! This week I tried the Buffalo Blue Cheese, and it was perfect. The right balance of hot sauce and blue cheese. Absolutely delicious. There are so many flavors to try, even more if you eat pork. Now I will say, if you stop by and think you'll get a warm and friendly greeting, you might not. My experiences are that they seem sort of bothered that you interrupted what they were doing. No worries, the sausage more than makes up for it! Make sure to stop here next time you're at Findlay!”

“Friday lent fish dinner. Beans are seasoned and taste so good. Bean container is double what Hattings Supermarket has with their dinner. Ton of French fry's. Fish sandwich is awesome. Large piece of fish. Would highly recommend. They also have a nice meat counter, sides, chicken and much more. First time stopping in.”

“I liked the store better with the original owners but they sold it years ago. They have changed the inside layout some though they seem to have essentially the same stuff, albeit more expensive, not entirely the store's fault, and to keep a small mom & pop shop like this open things do tend to be more expensive but it's one of those places that make Erlanger, Erlanger!”

Great that they sent it fast, but I needed to cancel one of the orders. They were able fix everything over the phone and turned a bad experience into a great experience!”
