I got turned off by Lowe's a few years ago when a bought a lawnmower late in the season... last one in stock, or I would've walked out when I suggested that I could fit it- still boxed- in my Corolla and the salesman laughed at me so loudly that it was clear he was seeking an audience. (it fit easily in my back seat). A few weeks ago, I tried to spend a gift card at Lowe's, and the register declined it, so I used my debit card, went home, checked the balance online- found out that each of my gift cards has $25 on them, so I went back today to spend one of them, and it was declined again. the man at the register did not offer to help- (I had told him that I'd checked the balance online)...I still intend to get my $50 worth of overpriced stuff when I have time to dither about it, but then I'm done.

I ordered my stove online it did not allow me to do installation of the gas stove. I called and had to buy the line and purchase the install at the local store. I was told also that there was no guarantee if I purchase this that I would have this installed. I also see that they have not yet prepared to deliver my stove and we are 4 days away. I call and I get the run around about the product even being available. This is a terrible experience. I made a complaint to corporate but no one still has called.

Do not buy appliances at Lowe's. It will take forever to get them installed. I am still waiting for a dishwasher to be installed that was purchased almost 2 months ago. The incompetence is amazing.

Lowe's 107 Carrytown Rd Hillsboro Oh 45177 Wow, what can I say about my experience with Lowe's. Let's start here. My elderly aunt was in need of a heat stove and needed one fast. We shopped a few places and Lowe's was the only place we could find one with substantial BTU to heat her well over 200 year old home. We were help quickly with the purchase of this stove but that is where the knowledge ended. The man who placed the order told is the stove (heat) told us the stove would be direct order from the manufacturer and a direct ship to us and the call them tomorrow they would be able to give is an exact same shipped date, and said something about a tracking number, but as for now the date to receive our merchandise would be on or about the 23td of November. Fast forward, after multiple calls and several drop in visit's to acquire the date to schedule propane tank installation and delivery, all to no avail. The department manager finally was able to find an active telephone number for the manufacturer which initial she called then per my request gave me the number. Now we have a new delivery date, December 7 and a direct phone number for the manufacturer. After reaching a live voice with the manufacturer, we then were told the stove not be ready for shipment until possibly the 7th of December at the earliest and added due to covid we are behind. This information would have been very helpful when placing the order on November 2. After speaking with the office manager over the Lowe's account several times and explaining what Hillsboro Lowe's already know, we live in Ohio, the farm house is old, we ordered because her stove blew up and the 1970's manufacturer of the older stove went out of business and we exhausted every means possible to have that one repaired and had to purchase a new one. Then and only then, the office manager called me back, finally someone fighting for us. They shipped us their showroom floor model and we received it by Dec 14th. I called Lowe's to inquire about the copper tubing for in house, what size does this stove need and once again Lowe's was clueless, they had absolutely no knowledge of the item sold to us in their store and "if there was something missing you'll have to bring the stove back to them", direct quote from manager in training coming from the manager on duty. By the way when, selling a heat stove and the manufacturer calls their products a heat stove, that's what it is not a heater which would lead someone to now after all this incompetence they were in the wrong in transfering me to the cook stove department Here is the good in all of the. We learned paitence. The stove was of good quality with only only minor flaws for the 1200.00 plus stove Lowe's worked so fast to sell us and so hard not to follow up with. Respectfully Not so satisfied customer.

If i could give 0 or negative stars I would. Their special in store order department & customer service managers are the absolute worst! I in-store special ordered a back panel for my diy kitchen island in May... MAY!! I have yet to receive it, no updates, and my money has not been returned. I will no longer purchase anything from this store again. What a shame, and they scammed my money. I believe Valerie is one of the managers I spoke with. Absolutely unprofessional!!!!!!!!

Update: Manager called back offered upgrade product and apology for service. Not 5 stars because phone/customer service still unresolved Absolutely, horrible experience. I bought a grill and it was out of stock but I paid for it on 5/27. I was told that it would be in that night, assembled, and ready for p/u on 5/28. It's 5/31 and have spent 50+minutes calling the store only to have customer service pick up the phone and just hang up. They don't even bother saying hello, can you hold, etc. They just hang up. The thing is I already PAID for the item and no one wants to even help.

My son spent over 4,000.00 on appliances in your store, and you can't even deliver them. I think that's pitiful, not good customer service at all. I'm telling him to go to Home Depot and just tell Lowes to keep your appliances

Went there to buy a shed. NOBODY in outdoor to help. After looking for 30 minutes went inside to customer service to get help. They called for service to sheds. We went back out and waited another 20 mins. Went back in and they said "Oh 2 people are headed out there but were for 2 other calls. We left and went to another home improvement store and got great service. Lowes You lost a couple more good customers.
