It’s not the worst, but does feel like a motel 6 disguised at a Marriott property.Their advertised airport shuttle is a joke. You have to make a reservation 24hrs in advance which is difficult when flights are unexpectedly delayed. They DO NOT reimburse for uber/lyft rides as one reviewer stated. Even when we did make a reservation to be taken back to the airport, the driver was 30min late because he went to the airport and was waiting for us. I’m not sure how that was confused when we were clearly checking out, but that seemed to be the mentality of all the workers, including the manager. When we checked in, we asked if there was a king available (Titanium member upgrade). She said sure but then when we got to the room it was two queens. We didn’t bother addressing that.If you’re attempting to sleep or work in peace during the day, forget it. Housekeeping is up and down the hall constantly slamming doors instead of propping them open and one was blasting aggressive rap music. I like rap, just not loudly at 8am.The fitness center equipment, although useful, was definitely past it’s prime and could use some maintenance. The bed was semi comfortable. The shower was decent after letting it run for about 10-15 to heat up.Unless you have a car or plan to spend money on transportation, there’s not much around here. You’re better off staying on the other side of the highway closer to all the restaurants and shops.I regularly stay in hotels so I notice all the little things, both good and bad. The bad outweighed the good here and I would not recommend staying here.

Clean hotel. Just short staffed and whoever manages the bar needs to do some shopping.Stayed here again in hopes they turned around so…Changes made in the last year? NO it’s actually become worse. The manager here is a brainless nut. The shuttle needs to be booked 24hrs in advance which is not what I would call a “shuttle.” Can’t even schedule a shuttle ride to and from the airport correctly. Twice we had to take a Lyft/Uber because the shuttle never showed and we were working at the airport, yes the airport! Not even reimbursed. And twice they messed up the request and left us standing and finally made us late for our meeting on the final day. So, as I stated a year ago, this place is NOT worthy of staying here. Pick a different hotel or suffer with your bad decision.

We checked in on 3-8-24 in evening checked out on 3-9-24. Gentleman named Justin was working front desk. He was nice polite all the above..He got us straight into our room. Once we got in I started my room check (I worked YEARS in housekeeping and Head housekeeper) the A/C wasn't working in bedroom. My husband went down desk and Justin got right on it!! He came to our room checked out contacted maintenance and ended up having crash course on fuse changing with maintenance on phone. All while doing front desk also..A/C was fixed quickly.(he needs a raise the way he was running around).Housekeeping..Could Use a little more attention to detail..looking under sofa beds and dressers things like that. But My 7yr old was happy when he found change in sofa bed lol...I sent few pictures to my husband (he was in the bistro) he actually showed Justin. Justin contacted management and we ended up with a $60.00 discount for all the inconvenience and 1 free Flatbread pizza. Now I did not send the pictures to complain! Housekeeping is NOT an easy job! Things are forgotten and missed! It happens!!! Especially when you have 15-20+ rooms and only so much time to do them in.. The bed was very comfortable and clean! Bathroom, vanity was very clean!! (Room 330)Now for the employees attitude in the bistro, not sure if the lady was just having a bad moment, day or week but whatever it was I hope she fixed it.!We would definitely stay again!Jason & Jamie Harper

Close to some food places, good rooms, helpful staff. One side is next to the highway, so if you’re a light sleeper you may want to be on the quieter side.Rooms: Beautiful rooms, elements of newer interior design from courtyard. Some of the furniture is still the slightly older design.Nearby activities: No much, but Cincinnati is 30 mins drive where more things to do areWalkability: walkable to nearby food places but not during winters

THE WORST Courtyard I’ve ever stayed at. One of the the things that’s attractive about Courtyard is its consistency. Well that does not hold true with this one. It’s the worst one I’ve ever stayed at. First, they oversold the King rooms and gave us a downgraded room with two queens WITHOUT ANY APOLOGY OR COMPENSATION. The receptionist seemed more concerned with getting back to her chat with her boyfriend or whomever was the man creepily lurking around at 1:00 am to talk with her. We specifically called ahead and said we’d be flying in late but we’d definitely be there, expecting to get the room we booked. There’s a reason we wanted a King. She didn’t even know how to switch our room over to a queen without charging us for a room we didn’t book. So even though we were exhausted after a day of flying and it was now 1:00 am and we hadn’t eaten dinner, she made us stand there and watch her try to figure it out for 25 minutes. Finally we insisted we be given a key to go to our rooms and not have to wait for her to figure it out. Next, the room smelled like cat pee. The TV didn’t work - kept cutting in and out and freezing. And the A/C has no fan to run consistently which means it noisily turns on and off all night to get to the desired temp. So you wake up every time it goes on. And even though it’s summer, it often came on to heat instead of AC. The beds are the worst and not up to Marriott bed standards. There were little brown stains on the sheets which looked like they COULD be from bed bugs. I kept waking up with pins and needles in my arms and legs because the hard bed was cutting off my circulation. The pillows are nothing more than seemingly 100 cotton balls rolled into this tiny sheet. They put us on the first floor right next to this door that slams shut every time anyone (guests/housekeeping) goes to the lobby which is like every few minutes in the morning. This further contributed to our terrible sleep. So naturally I woke up with a migraine, sore joints, and bags under my eyes from the bed and lack of sleep, oh and what’s with charging $4 for a 1oz bag of Fritos?????? Outrageous and predatory!!

We love to stay near airports to watch the planes and this was a perfect location for that. It was a tad noisy on the balcony from the interstate but that didn’t bother us.Ellie was very helpful and friendly when we checked in.

Onallee Travis was an amazing help for my company when we can in to host a hiring event this week. Also, she provided transportation to and from the airport as a shuttle for all of our team member who flew in and gave us knowledge of the general area. Thanks for what you do for Marriott.Walkability: Local stores were nearby if we needed them.

Do not buy breakfast at the courtyard on cavalier drive exit 182 in Cincinnati! Very expensive; almost nothing on the menu was actually available. Oatmeal served with no raisins, sugar, etc. no fruit for yogurt. Avocado toast is actually guacamole spread. Hard potatoes. Coffee full of grounds. $45 for 3 of us.Nice roomFood & drinks: Terrible. Go some place else.

Overall, basic hotel with nice staff. We stayed two times upon arriving for the Kentucky Derby and departing for the Derby out of CVG.Be ware, their shuttle service in inconsistent. We arrived late (11:30pm), and was told they had no shuttle service. I thought that was odd because stayed there before and remembered seeing it advertised when booking. It was there, however their shuttle service stops at 9pm and is by appointment only. So if you have any early flight out or late arrival, arrange for an Uber/Lyft, or choose another Marriott property.Upon arrival, understanding it was late, the doors were locked. We, family of 4 with luggage had to verify ourselves before they would let us in. Check in went smooth and quick.Facility only has one elevator, sis see a fitness. Center, never explored to see/find a pool. They do have a marketplace and Bistro. The marketplace is overly priced. 1 bottles water. $4.72. Got 3 bottled waters, Gatorade, sweet tea, chips, and ice cream…$35.Rooms are basic, can be cleaned better. Observed spider webs hanging from bathroom sink mirror. No bathroom fan exhaust, shower door broken (off track..track broken).Although cars were in the lot, didn’t see many people inside the building, but we were in and out to KY and upon return, for a 5am flight. There are restaurants in the area, some walking distance. There is also a grocery store less than a mile, to avoid marketplace prices.Marriott CVG will see us next time.

A great reminder of why I am a Hilton Diamond member!!The “fun” at this location started when I landed at the airport. I called for a shuttle pick up as it was listed on their website. Was told “our shuttle is out of service – take an Uber and we will reimburse you”. Ok so I’ll take the Uber and yes, they did true me up – but this location was chosen specifically to have a shuttle. Was given an even umber room – so facing the interstate highway! Honestly – I think if I had pitched my tent in the highway median it would have been quieter. Even with the fan on high AND ear plugs it was a no sleep night.Came downstairs in the morning to look for breakfast. Found the coffee thermos but no cups. Was told “coffee is not free – you have to pay for the cups”. REALLY – I’m paying $200 for a room and you can’t give me a cup of coffee that cost you $0.20 to make!!Next day I requested a room change due to the noise. The clerk begrudgingly looked. Then offered a alternative room. However, I was told I needed to remove my belongings from the existing room and return to the front desk to turn in my key before I could get the key for the new room!! So I cant simply move from one room to another??Was forced to stay with Marriott due to having to meet up with other colleagues. I think next time I will choose to sleep in my rental car. Will for sure be a more restful experience.
