For years I have been a loyal customer of Steve’s Jewelers in Flatwoods, KY. From the first time I walked through their doors, I could tell this was not your average pawn shop but a place where good people work hard to help the community. The owner and staff at this shop are some of the friendliest folks you'll meet, always greeting customers with a smile and taking the time to listen. Their prices are fair - not looking to rip anyone off but offering reasonable deals whether you're looking to buy or pawn an item. They have a great selection of merchandise, jewelry and musical instruments. It's always interesting to browse their shelves and see what hidden gems you can uncover.A big reason I keep coming back is that the people here genuinely want to help others, treating customers with dignity and understanding when times are tough. I've seen them work with people patiently. There's a sense of compassion you don't always see in retail. Beyond the friendly service, they also offer excellent skill and craftsmanship when it comes to jewelry repair. I've brought several pieces to them over the years when a pendant broke or ring needed sizing, and each time the repairs have been done quickly, affordably and with careful attention to detail. They are a pillar of our community and one I wholeheartedly recommend whether you're looking to browse, buy, sell, or have an item repaired. There's absolutely nothing bad I can say about Steve's Jelwery. Travis and Steve are just the nicest and most caring people I've met. I've been going there for 6 years now and I REFUSE to go anywhere else. They're my go to for everything down to jelwery repair. They're always willing to work with you and negotiate and help you in anyway they can. I just can't say enough about Travis and Steve. If you go to any other pawn shop in the area, you're making a mistake. Make the switch if you are and I promise you won't regret it. I seen the bad reviews and I just don't believe it. As long as you communicate with them, they're not going to just put your stuff out without your knowledge. Travis will mail you a letter way before it's time and will also even call you. They don't want you to lose your stuff from what I've seen and have experienced. That's why they're the best in the area.

Steve's Pawn Shop is an incredible place to shop for things you don't realize are great gifts. I struggled to think of a cool Christmas present for a nephew and Steve suggested a guitar and it was awesome. Great customer service, great knowledge of their products, and a great place to hang out and chat.Stop by there and check it out for yourself you will be impressed.
