“So our trip started off horrible. For whatever reason our bank decided to not let any transaction above the daily atm limit go thru. It wouldn't be resolved until the following morning. After being on the phone with the bank for an hour after arriving at the hotel and getting nowhere, we now had to explain this to the hotel. I explained and asked if we could pay for the night and settle the remaining the next day. The hotel could have told us to kick rocks since they put a hold for the full amount. Instead he handed us our key cards, said go get settled in, and have a great evening and we could settle in the morning. This didn't have to be done and we could have had to find another hotel for a night. I can't tell you how much we appreciated this. The next morning after a lengthy apology from a customer service manager and a bank manager, we paid in full and we were so thankful for the consideration given to us. Yeah we know they had our car in the valet, but they didn't even have to let us check in and they certainly were gracious and went above and beyond. we even had to extend our trip by 4 days and they were able to squeeze us in and managed to keep us in the same room.I wish I wrote everyone's name down and I feel bad bc I had the honor to have multiple conversations with various staff during our stay. But I only remember Andrew by name, but he and the rest of the staff MADE my trip. Exceptional service is just another day of the week to these people and they're the ones who made this trip and make us want to come back to the Lytle. So to the staff of the Lytle, from the front desk, to the bar/restauraunt, the ones who cleaned the room, the bellhops, the valets and everyone in between. Thank you.Rooms: Our room was really really really good. Spacious, well decorated and clean. We had a suite with a soaking tub and I used that thing every damn day. Highly recommend coming with bath salts or a bath bomb.Nearby activities: There's alot more to Cincinatti that I thought. As I've only ever driven thru, there's so many great places to eat and visit. We''ll be back to do just that.Food & drinks: The restaurant upstairs and the one downstairs are gorgeous. Upstairs is the view, you can see a large portion of the riverfront and across to the Kentucky side. It's gorgeous at night! The weather was cold most of the time we were there so we couldn't sit outside, but inside is no less nice.We spent some time downstairs at the bar, the staff is top notch. I highly recommend trying the the Vanilla Pear Mule for something different and the gelato for the dessert. Probably the best salted caramel gelato I've ever had.”

“This was one of the best experiences I have had staying over night hands down! My wife and I had celebrated our wedding day and we were able to get away to this fantastic location for two nights of rest and relaxation. With flower petals on our bed, chocolate covered strawberries, and sparkling wine waiting for us when we arrived it was truly a magical stay that was everything we wanted and more! Breakfast was delicious both days and with such friendly people around it truly felt like we were being welcomed into someone's home. We loved our patio/deck off the back of the log cabin and enjoyed some sun before it began raining but overall loved our time there! We are definitely looking forward to making return visits and will always remember how great of care Willis Graves took for us!

Rooms: Our room was super clean and had everything we could think of needing for the weekend!

Nearby activities: Willis Graves is a historic place in Burlington and has other great historic sites nearby for dinner and drinks.

Walkability: The grounds were beautiful and had great brick and stone paths that made each area easily accessible.

Food & drinks: Delicious breakfast and fresh coffee and juices.”

“It is a nice hotel overall and the attached restaurant (Metropole) is fabulous for breakfast. We had the corner room (a nice complimentary upgrade) which was said to be the nicest in the hotel. Three items did not function as they should - safe, bedside lamp, in-house phone. However someone came quickly to fix the safe. We did not mention the lamp and the front desk was notified of the phone issue. We needed the phone to call for the valet 20 minutes prior to needing our car. Instead my husband needed to go down to the lobby and request the car. The room could use a pick me up - looked a little worn but nothing too extreme. The room was very spacious for the three of us. We did not use either but it was nice that two tvs were included. The bathroom was nice - double sinks, artistic tiles, shower and tub, and fabulous smelling luxury hand soap! The king bed was comfortable. For a room this size and price I felt that it should have included a microwave but maybe that is just me. The location was what seemed like a great location if we wanted to walk around the area however our schedule did not allow it. The art museum within the hotel is very cool and was a great way to spend a little extra time that we had. Complimentary bourbon tastings in the evening were a nice touch but unfortunately we did not get to take part. Overall it was a nice stay!”

“After hours of searching for a place to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary on 2/22, we landed on this place. We have never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast and didn't know what to expect. We got the Dream Suite. We alsp got the add on of the charcuterie board and wine. It was amazing! The breakfasts both mornings was delicious!!! The room was amazing. It was our best getaway ever. A place to recharge, relax, and reconnect. We will be back.... and check out one of the other amazing looking rooms.”

“This hotel is perfect! If you’re coming downtown to Newport Kentucky to walk around and check out all the restaurants, bars, distilleries, this is an easy place to stay. Lots to do around this area and it’s a real clean hotel. The breakfast is solid, with waffles, eggs, sausage, and all you need coffee!!There is outdoor seating with chairs and tables, along the road to hang out in when the weather is nice! You’re in a perfect location right off the bridge, to walk over to Cincinatti on the purple people bridge, and just a few blocks away from food and the downtown area along the river - Newport on the Levee! Not their fault, looks like it’s the new thing Hilton does, but they do charge $10 a day for parking parking even though it’s just a flat parking lot!Rooms: Nice and clean!Nearby activities: Restaurants, food, bars, purple people, walking bridge!Safety: Seems real safe to walk everywhere!Walkability: Close to everything!Food & drinks: Close to all food and drinks!Noteworthy details: Parking, yep they charge you $10 a day. Monies why, but Hilton charges this to your room.”

“My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights when we were in town for a Red's game. We loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. The staff was super nice and personable. They were warm and welcoming. Our room was super clean. The attention and effort they put into cleaning the room was obvious. The location was perfect. We could drive to a gas station in less than a minute without getting back on the main roads. We walked 2 minutes to the movie theater next door. And I-275 is a quarter mile from the turnoff to the hotel. We were easily able to reach Florence, Newport and Covington in less than ten minutes. We felt safe in both the hotel and the parking lot. The hotel is off to itself so there is no passing traffic. The breakfast is as nice as you will find anywhere. I will say the bed was extremely uncomfortable to the point had we been staying more than 2 nights we would've had to request a room change. Had the bed been more comfortable it would have been perfect.

Rooms: The room was extremely clean and well supplied. The rooms were also very spacious. The only issue we had was with the bed. It was extremely uncomfortable. Had we been staying more than 2 nights we would have requested a room change..

Nearby activities: There is a very nice movie theater within a 2 minute walk. There are no attractions close by but we went to the Florence Mall, Covington and Newport on the Levee and they were all within 10 minutes due to I-275 being within 2 minutes of the hotel and easily accessible.

Safety: My wife and I felt safe the entire time, both in the hotel and parking lot. The hotel is off to itself so there is no traffic passing thru on foot or by vehicle.

Walkability: There is a great movie theater within a 2 minute walk. Dairy Queen and Mellow Mushroom were close enough to walk. There were a few more restraunts and a gas station close by but they were far enough away up a steep incline that I wouldn't recommend walking.”

“Michelle was amazing! I came for my friend's graduation and was so surprised to find a full kitchen. The room was clean and smelled clean, thank you Jose!It was also quiet. Everything about my room was great.I also want to add I had plenty of towels, which was awesome! They were clean, white and soft. None of then looked old.Thank you Michelle for a wonderful stay! The only thing that was an iasue for me was parking spaces. There was a truck parked sideways taking up multiple spots. When I got back from going to the Derby there were no regular spots.Obviously this isn't Michelle's fault, just something that would be good to address so that everyone with a room has a spot.I would definitely stay here again!!Rooms: My room was fantastic! Kitchen, living room, king size bed and a nice bathroom!Plenty of towels and an extra blanket and pillow in the closet. The bed was very comfortable too!Nearby activities: I went to a college graduation at WGU afterwards we drive the 1.5 hours to Churchill Downs and watched the Kentucky Derby.Didn't have much time for anything else, however it looked like there were a lot places with activities for kids. Plus The Cincinnati Zoo is close and it's beautiful!Safety: I felt completely safe there. Saturday night I didn't get back until after midnight and had no issues.”

“The hotel staff were wonderful- I plan on staying here again the next time I’m in the area! However, I do not recommend the airport shuttle. It was late and made me nervous about making my flight.”

“This was our first visit to Cincinnati. This hotel helped make our stay a very pleasant experience. The hotel’s location, parking garage right next door and their staff, particularly Kesha and Julie, who went above board to be especially helpful. If we visit Cincinnati again, we will be staying here.”

“The customer service at this location exceeds all expectations as McKenna went above and beyond during a crisis. She demonstrated true compassion and care with a potentially severe issue I was facing. For that reason alone, I would come here time and time again and feel a great rating is necessary in her honor. I will be traveling in the next few months flying out of CVG and I will most certainly stay here!Noteworthy details: Please read review.”

“The staff is exceptional here. A+ customer service. The M Club is terrible and the food is gross.

“Overall a wonderful experience. We had a free night to use up so I won't be to critical but the room was very odd. Room 1420 in particular was very tiny and laid out in peculiar fashion unlike any other room I'd stayed at a Hyatt or other hotel for that matter, luckily we weren't there to be in our room long so other than that the staff and facilities were nice and our trip was good. Just don't get that room!”

“I am too late to post this review but its never too late for the excellent comments. we were around 70 people were here in this hotel in September 2023 and CIERRA BICKEL and her staff made our stay as good as possible. It was my son's wedding and we were coming out of town and was too scared how things will workout there. But because of CIERRA BICKEL it was as smooth as it can be . Every time i called her and explain her my concern she always said don't worry i am here and i will take care of everything and she did it. Not to mention she was 8 months pregnant. all our guests loved her and her staff. I have so much to say all good things about them. I felt it home there. i would love to stay there with an blink of my eye. All in all we all were 200% satisfied with their services and hospitality.”

“You cannot get into this building unless you are accompanied by someone with a Childrens Badge and employees are quite firm on this rule to the point of sometimea seeming distrustful. Once inside however, people are friendly enough and there is a small cafeteria where you can get a quick bite to eat or coffee, drinks, etc.”

“Clean and quiet. I travel with my dogs, and I was accommodated in a pet friendly room. Breakfast was actually very good. Cafe was well stocked and there was a good selection of foods to choose from.

Rooms: The room was a pet friendly room, and it was very clean. (No bad smell). Bed was comfortable.

Noteworthy details: It was quiet and comfortable. Good value for the price.”

“We stayed here for one night on our way down to Tennessee. We chose this hotel for the trailer/RV parking and because it was right off the highway. This was a very nice, clean and updated hotel. Check in was great and the rooms are very spacious. Not sure why there's no fan in the bathroom. Lots of amenities and close to a good selection of restaurants. This might be nit picking, but our reservation stated that breakfast was included but the front desk didn't mention it when we checked in. We called down in the morning to ask if our breakfast was included as per our email and were put on hold for over 5 minutes. We ended up just going over to Cracker Barrel for breakfast as we were anxious to get back on the road. This might be something the hotel wants to work out with Hotels.com for the future. Other than that, would recommend and would stay again.”

“I stayed for one night and I feel it is very expensive compared to what they offer. There is no complimentary breakfast and room was ok or typical low budget hotel rooms.

What I like most is it is closest to airport however not on airplane route so it is quiet and good”

The young guy w glasses at the desk....awesome guy, great customer service, not just with me but I witnessed guest after guest!! Location there's plenty to eat and gas stations all around it. “We checked in on 3-8-24 in evening checked out on 3-9-24. Gentleman named Justin was working front desk. He was nice polite all the above..He got us straight into our room. Once we got in I started my room check (I worked YEARS in housekeeping and Head housekeeper) the A/C wasn't working in bedroom. My husband went down desk and Justin got right on it!! He came to our room checked out contacted maintenance and ended up having crash course on fuse changing with maintenance on phone. All while doing front desk also..A/C was fixed quickly.(he needs a raise the way he was running around).Housekeeping..Could Use a little more attention to detail..looking under sofa beds and dressers things like that. But My 7yr old was happy when he found change in sofa bed lol...I sent few pictures to my husband (he was in the bistro) he actually showed Justin. Justin contacted management and we ended up with a $60.00 discount for all the inconvenience and 1 free Flatbread pizza. Now I did not send the pictures to complain! Housekeeping is NOT an easy job! Things are forgotten and missed! It happens!!! Especially when you have 15-20+ rooms and only so much time to do them in.. The bed was very comfortable and clean! Bathroom, vanity was very clean!! (Room 330)Now for the employees attitude in the bistro, not sure if the lady was just having a bad moment, day or week but whatever it was I hope she fixed it.!We would definitely stay again!Jason & Jamie Harper”

“Sara and Paul were Great. I had a Twelve night stay in the area and I had to move from one because they had sold out The Other hotel that was newer had carpet that was torn in my room and the tack strip was exposed. They only Cleaned the room every three days on request. This location met me with a smile and a how was your day every day when I would return. Sara was there every morning to say have a good day when I left. In the evening, Paul would ask if there was anything I needed. I felt like a valued customer and Individual. Thanks so much for your hospitality and a clean room every night.”

“My 1-month stay at the Hampton Inn was absolutely amazing! The comfy beds, the room space, and the temperature control system were ideal. A coffee maker, fridge and microwave in the room added great value to it. The breakfasts were delicious and had everything I could have wished for, especially the berries. My room was cleaned every alternate-day and the floor supervisor, Lenise, made sure that it was done timely.I dint use the pool or the fitness center but they seemed okay. The staff at the front desk and the housekeeping department made sure that my needs were met timely.I would like to make a special mention of the names: David, Carlton, Shelby and Lenise from the staff, these guys were awesome! I had a lot of conversations with them and they guided me really well.I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful n comfortable stay.Btw I dint get to know if I earned any Hilton Honors points for my month's stay, would appreciate if I get information on how I can? Thanks!Rooms: Very comfortable and clean beds and pillows. Clean towels n free toileteries. LCD tv with a lot of channels. Free wifi.Walkability: The walkways are wide enough not to cause any hindrance.Food & drinks: Complimentary breakfast with lots of items to choose from.
