Very unsatisfactory and unpleasant visit on Thanksgiving night. The cashier Arlene was beyond rude,unfriendly, etc. I attempted to contact the store and address the issue the next day,and was told several different stories. First was that store didn't have a manager to talk to. Then the cashier calls the manager of the store on speaker phone while on phone with me. That manager tells the cashier that she didn't want to talk to me. Then the cashier tells me there'd be a manager every day at the store starting at 6 am this past Monday. I called a few times, but they wouldn't answer. Left a voice-mail and no call back. Also emailed customer service about it through Murphy and same NO response. Worst experience at any Murphy location I've ever been to.

The attendant was very unfriendly. She didn't won't to help me simply because she thought it was to much work for her. it was not busy, she just didn't feel like it.

Very disappointed in the selection for drinks, coolers were nearly empty. Not sure if it's poor management or what, but customers expect service stations/convenient stores to carry a variety of drinks and snacks. I could understand if it was after a very busy holiday weekend and a lot of travelers out that may have flocked the store over the weekend but it wasn't.

Manager rude to my daughter! Debit card machine not working properly and therefore did not accept my daughter's debit card. It declined. Manager decided to let everyone in the store know card was declined. Embarrassing to say the least. Daughter obviously upset by poor customer service received and manager's behavior when card was declined, she chose to use a few colorful words.
When I spoke with manager, she of course did not own and admit to her poor behavior, conduct, nor how she chose to manage the entire situation. She turned her back on me, walked away and refused to continue conversation with me. RUDE! However, she did provide corporate office phone number. After all that she decided to then call me sweetheart. Condescendingly!! Sweetheart is a term of endearment and should never be used when addressing customers at a place of business. Im quite sure that's a possible complaint to EEOC.
Prior to leaving parking lot, I called customer service. Filed a complaint. Customer service representative stated district manager would call both my daughter and myself. Same day, a customer service representative called my daughter and stated retraining would be provided to the manager. I'm stillll waiting to be contacted.
After this situation, I would never purchase gas or anything else from this business nor would I recommend to friends, family, coworkers, acquaintances, etc.!
If I could rate below 1-star, Murphys Express would receive that!
