Interesting place in a 2 story house. There are a lot of great collectibles at great prices. Parking is around the back of the house along with the entrance. All items are donated, and all profits go to organizations in Hardin County.

Super friendly people, the store is well organized, and the prices are still reasonable in 2024. Anything you buy will be carefully wrapped (if breakable). We enjoy visiting and shopping there frequently.

Was going to stop by and see what this place is like. Well that didn't happen and I won't be back either. When I pulled up a lady was outside with a dog letting it use the bathroom or whatever. So I assumed they were open. Get out of my car and start walking towards the door and that lady runs in and literally locked the door in my face. What a rude way to run a business. All she had to say was sorry we are closed but instead she runs in and locks the door in my face. I won't ever be back to that place. I'm not sure why being polite and just letting me know they were closed was so hard. So now they have literally lost a potential customer because they don't know their manners. No wonder this place doesn't even have a 4 star rating.

Very rude people. Not open at noon on a Wednesday. No proper signage displaying open/closed or hours. Walked in and woman was very very rude.VERY UNWELCOMING.Edited in response to owner's reply:Owner pushing blame & continues to be rude instead of actually attempting to fix the issue. The store was well lit when we arrived. There was absolutely zero signage outside of the store, or in any windows. Nothing to say "use back door" or "closed." Nothing. In response to her comment about "regular customers;" your business should be inviting to new, and former customers. If you're only interested in your "regulars" then shame on you. You should absolutely have signage displaying information to potential new customers. Such as "use back door" considering NOTHING ANYWHERE says that. Get an open/closed flip sign. Put up a sign that says "check our Facebook for updates"I've been to more than 250 thrift stores in the United States and this was by far my least favorite experience; and I wasn't even able to shop!

I have donated hundreds of dollars worth of items to Buried Treasure. There were homeless cats and kittens nearby. I called to ask them if they had taken any of those cats or kittens to the vet, or had them spayed or neutered (what they claim to be raising tax-free dollars for with DONATED items). The man was very rude and said "no". He asked me if I had taken them to the vet (I don't get thousands of tax-free dollars every year to help pets in the area). He was very rude and defensive! I wonder how much, if any, money they do donate to the good of the local furry creatures. This organization is HORRIBLE! They are rude and untrustworthy; they should be investigated for non-profit tax fraud.

Google said they were open today. Was passing through town, thought I would stop as the place looked interesting. Closed with no reason posted. Hard to shop small businesses when they are not open during posted hours.
