I've long been a fan of both Family Dollar Store and the Dollar Tree but I found that I'm definitely NOT a fan of the combination stores. Not only has Dollar Tree raised their dollar prices to a dollar twenty-five, the items are interspersed all through the store. Family Dollar Store items are on the same shelf as Dollar Tree. I found few of the merchandise I used to love about the store. They had a large clothing section but not in the combination store!The clerk had what appeared to be family visiting her in the store but she was available immediately when I checked out - clothing detergent, some pasta and a couple of miscellaneous things - and I said goodbye. Forever.There's a straight up Dollar Tree in Tompkinsville and that's where I will go if I feel the need to shop on the cheap. Not Edmonton.
