Ethan took the time to review the issue prior to arrival and provided advice on monitoring for future problems. I appreciated his honest opinion and availability. Easy online scheduling, excellent communication regarding appointment and efficient follow up with texts on arrival window within the 8 hour time frame. I was very impressed and will call again if we need repair.

The only not so good thing is the time frame they give you. 8-5 feels like you a prisoner all day. But the technician knew what he was doing. Everything is up and running. Makes for a good day.Edit: December 12th today and this is the 3rd time back for the same problem. Hoping this gets fixed soon, I happen to be off today but the time frame for them is 8-5. Not very convenient for the person that has to be there. I guess 3 strikes and your out if it's not fixed today.

This was a horrible experience. First they give you a window between 8am - 5pm. Then I check status and the eta is 7:30pm. Then I check status again and all the sudden my repair request shows that it was cancelled, but the maintenance for dryer, which I really didn’t want was still active. I tried to call about 20 times and only got an automated system that only had me enter numbers but never got to an actual person. Then I get a notice that the repairman has arrived…which he never did, nor did I ever get a call explaining why the service I requested was cancelled. Then to top it all off they send me a link to this review asking me how my technician / service was. How ridiculous. All I know is I better not see a charge on my bank statement. I will never use Sears again, nor recommend them. For such an established company this experience has left a very poor impression on this once reputable company!! Also I wouldn’t even give this one star but you can’t post a review with selecting at least one.

The technician found a broken wire and thought he fixed the issue, but he also used a 5v fuse for 3v, leading to burning smell from a overheated furnace and fire risk of my home. Eventually did not fix the problem and made it worse. Not professional at all.
