“If you're looking to remodel your kitchen I highly recommend builders surplus in Florence, ky. I first looked to the big box hardware stores. The answers that I received concerning doing the work with as little inconvenience as possible and in an a timely manner were not addressed. I then tried some independent contractors but was not satisfied or confident enough in their bids. I went to builders surplus where Michelle bowling provided me with an excellent contractor (blue valley construction). Hayden Humphrey, the co-owner assured me the work would be done in a timely manner with as little as inconvenience as possible. Michelle bowling became my personal assistant and helped me pick out everything I needed for my kitchen and dining room remodel. The information and organization builders surplus provided was met with great results. The manager designed my cabinets to provide extra storage space and I also picked up some counter space. The quality and timing of everything met or exceeded projections: custom cabinets delivered in just 4 weeks. The day after they arrived my contractor removed the old cabinets, countertops and flooring. He replaced the base cabinets and flooring, returning use of the kitchen and dining room in just two days. Sindhu granite america came in and Lazar measured for the countertops. the second week the contractor put in the upper cabinets and tile backsplash and granite america installed the countertops. All materials and workmanship met or exceeded expectations.”
“Fun place to shop. Decent prices on 84' window curtains. For the price and double packaged panels, I didn't mind the materials lacking quality or blocking the sun's rays in this room.”
“Was so glad that I drove from Lexington, KY to Florence to work with Jennifer Griggs!! Excellent service, she made time to work with me even though I didn't have an appointment. We remodeled 3 Full Bathrooms and she was wonderful every step of the way! Even had to return a soaker tub I wasn't happy with the size. She quickly helped me find a replacement - Ended up with the Naomi by Barclay! It is FABULOUS!!! Holds heat for over 30 minutes and is wonderful!!!! If you are looking for a soaker tub I would consider looking at this one!! I am very picky about my soaker tub!!!! Will work with Jennifer again on our next project.”

“Great variety store especially if looking for deals but being a bargain outlet the variety does change often. They offer loyalty program which gives 10-20% discounts after so much. Store needs some work but it is worth a look.”

“It’s a great store. The frustrating part was having to wait in line at the back counter for people to calculate how much gravel they needed for their patio when all I wanted was a “pick list” for some mulch. Why can’t they enter the SKU and sell the mulch at the register?”
“So glad to have them reopen this store. Purchased many items before Covid. The store is always so clean and well organized. Easy to find and get to. Handicap accessible and they also have restrooms. Great for those just purchasing a home as they have something for every room!”

“Excellent business! Matt LonnemanSpecialized Plumbing Parts Supply Was a pleasure to work with. My 1950's plumbing was leaking, I needed help diagnosing the stems I had taken out to repair. Matt knew exactly that the parts I needed were for Crane. I did the whole repair myself with a rebuild kit. Great prices, stocks hard to find items. I fixed my hot, cold and shower diverter. The kit came with the handles and everything. If you ever need to replace Crane bathtub and shower fixtures the hot and cold is standard plumbers wrench. The shower diverter was a challenge. I tried everything and what worked was a long 1 1/16 socket and socket wrench. I'm super excited my shower/bath is repaired and usable.
