Me and three of my girl friends blew our tire on the way back home from a trip in Nashville late on a Saturday afternoon several hours away from home. One of the men that works for Carlton Motors came up to us at the local gas station and offered to help us despite being closed. They worked on our car for two hours (until after dark) to check our tire, get us a used tire, and replace it so we could get home. Price was very reasonable (under $100) and the people were super kind. Everyone was super friendly and chatted with us. God must have sent an angel to help us. We got so lucky to be home safe in our own car that night!

Dewayne and his family are awesome. He is an honest mechanic and the services are professional with a personal touch. My wife was stranded about a mile a way. We managed to reach him and he had her back on the road in an hour! Highly recommend! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME

Broke down over 1000 miles from my final destination and was fortunate to connect with Tina and the team at Carlton Motors. They were understanding of my situation and did all they could to get me up and running. They provide really good service and are transparent with everything. I would use them again.

We were on our way to Florida and our van broke down. I called around to multiple mechanic shops, none were open. I saw this one with good reviews and called. They answered and were very quick to help us and get us back on the road. They were very kind and friendly and reasonably priced.

They went above and beyond! Our old chevy was having issues on a cross country trip and they took us right away. While fixing the main issue (fuel pump), they realized our carburetor was dirty and blocked. They fixed both! No tunnel vision here- they saw a bigger picture. This isn't a place that just wants your money and shoves you out the door- they really care about the work they do!. Super friendly, very welcoming and very up front and honest . They care about anyone they can help- wanting to be sure we'd be safe continuing on our trip. If we lived closer- they would be our shop for life!

We were on I65 in the middle of nowhere when we couldn't avoid a paper bag on the highway and then we heard a BOOM. Followed by loud rumbling. 5:30pm. Looked on my phone for mechanics and Carlton Motors came up about 20 minutes down the road in Eddyville, KY.After 2 hours our car was repaired and on our way. They're great people. Dewayne and Adam did a great job. Apparently they never close. He said he can't leave people stranded on the highway.Service: Exhaust
