I’ve been to plenty of yoga places and get really intimidated by the extremely small classes and instructors critiquing my every move. That’s not Body Alive. There is more community, less criticism, more inclusion and letting you just find your practice that day - no pushing for perfection or demanding my body do something it cannot. I appreciate the sweet instructors (they are soooo young and kind!). They make you feel welcome and are great at reminding you to take it at your own pace, listening to your body.I wish they offered more yoga classes and a few other offerings than Pilates but I’ve found classes most of the days I want them.”

The inside was very clean and there was bathrooms and a shower if needed. 24hrs access is rare now days which is a huge plus. As a gym freak I recommend this gym for sure!!”

“If you're reading this because you're skeptical of the ratings, let me assure you, this is a 5-star facility. I've been working out for years but had to alter my routine due to an injury last summer. This was my first experience with class workouts, and they are killer. Every session leaves me drenched in sweat and sore in the best way, targeting muscles I'd typically overlook. The staff is supportive and the atmosphere is energizing. I'm halfway through the 7-class trial and will definitely be signing up for a regular membership.”

“This is a great place to go for any home gym or exercise equipment. The store is well stocked and they encourage you to show up ready to try the machines.The people are all knowledgeable and are intimately involved in making certain the product is right for the person. There is no pressure to buy a specific brand or model.They service what they sell. Since home equipment can run in the multiple thousands of dollars, having service option is a must. I have heard and read horror stories of people buying equipment from online retailers who won't back up a warranty when something goes bad.I purchased one piece of equipment that had an issue with an arm attachment. After performing a service call and determining one of the set screws had been stripped, they replaced the entire machine.Nice people, owner operated, good prices, great service.”

Even though I was not a member of the gym, I felt welcomed by the coaches and fellow athletes from the start. The coaches (Kaitlyn, Lauren and Kate) were very well prepared and ran efficient and effective workouts, providing just the right level of coaching and guidance during each workout. I would definitely recommend CrossFit Cincinnati for anyone looking to drop in for a class as well as for those considering joining the gym on a regular basis.”
“Mark and Hero Gym are as good as it gets. I don't have much experience in gyms (despite my amazing physical prowess) and Mark made me feel right at ease, giving strong support but also pushing me to go as hard as possible. “KID'S CLUB STAFF SHOUTOUT. I'm a SilverLake member but I come to BB once a week for basketball. I bring my energetic 2, almost 3, year old son, Nico, every Wednesday around 5:30PM for the past month. They greet him, make him feel welcome, and that's all I expect. But they go way above and beyond. Sometimes I've come down an hour later and they're still engaging with him! He prefers solo play unless it's another toddler he knows so I'm shocked he's playing with them. And I can tell he's getting attention because he doesn't want to leave most of the time. This is never the case at Silverlake, he's always sprinting to the door upset and desperately trying to get out and I only leave him at that Kids Club for only 30 minutes. He was being clingy last week at BB and didn't want to go in (had nothing to do with them, he's just a daddy's boy sometimes), and the employee working the desk was a good sport, reached out her arms, talked him through it, and put up with his whines for who knows how long. I bounced because I knew he was going to cry no matter what we did. I expected them to either reluctantly take him or ask to wait until he's ready, but she was all over it and ready to handle his whiny butt. They're so awesome! It's not that I don't appreciate Silverlake staff at Kids Club because it's an insanely hard job, but the BB staff are just the best. If I had any doubts on keeping my Silverlake membership, BB Kid's Club staff have killed them.”

“Joshua! What a fabulous human and coach. I was very hesitant to seek out a personal trainer & my only regret is I wish I had asked for Joshua’s help sooner.My favorite things about working w Joshua… 1) he holds you accountable!! But not in a scary way… he humbly seeks to understand. He asks probing questions that dig into motivation that begin to scratch the surface for WHY behind your goals so that he can help you build a plan to achieve 2) he leads by example. NEVER has Joshua asked me to restrict. He helps you build a sustainable plan that enables you to live life tastefully AND on track to meet your ideal self. He doesn’t miss out on ice cream, so why should I?? 3) he is so knowledgeable. From the first conversation I had w Joshua I knew I was going to learn so much working w him…however, not only have I learned so much, but his energy to learn more is contagious and I’m inspired to keep learning. Joshua provides you w what feels like endless amounts of coaching in topics like: habit formation, nutrition (I was definitely not getting enough protein before working w Joshua!), strength training, goal setting & achieving, productivity etc. 4) Joshua builds a personal plan that fits YOU. I was working remote for a month and was really worried about the progress we’d made (strength building, clean eating etc.) because w/out a routine & traveling I thought I would regress to old habits… Joshua detailed a guide for me that included local gyms he tracked down in PORTUGAL as well as hikes/activities and grocery stores nearby w healthy choices for vegetarians… I mean wow. He made it so easy for me to put fitness first. Joshua 5) he’s in your corner! This is one of my favorite aspects of working w Joshua; he’s the best cheerleader. He taught me to celebrate the small wins and when doubt reared it’s ugly head… he was first to reassure me.I signed up for 3 months w Joshua and I’m so excited to continue this journey… I wouldn’t pick anyone else to be in my corner. Thank you Joshua!!!”
