101 6th Ave, Dayton“They had more selection than most locations but the store itself was almost too small for all of it. At the same time, seemed like they were out of a lot of stuff. Must be because they seem to stay pretty busy.”
“I actually work here really good ?? good people good employees I have a disability and that's a important to me to work with good people they're willing to help you find anything if you needed fresh organic if you're looking for something like that.”
“I cannot say enough about how much I love Trader Joe’s! Everything from the atmosphere, to the quality of the products, to the customer service is incredible! This location is always very clean and the associates are always very helpful in accommodating.”
“Always super friendly and helpful—as are all Trader Joes. They have an upbeat, outgoing reputation and are over-the-top helpful when it comes to their products. If you have questions, they’ll find the answers!!”
“Excellent butcher shop, my go-to place for filet mignon, prime rib. Hamburger is top notch and pork generally ground fresh. Staff are friendly and service excellent. If you are looking for Steaks or meats of any kind, this is your butcher shop in Northern KY.”
“Shelly, her husband and the crew will treat you like a friend. Amazing chicken salad made in house, variety of delicious baked breads and so much more. Love you guys.”

112 E Liberty St, Cincinnati“I have received help here and always been treated with respect. I was faced with a rude volunteer one day so I called and talked to a lady about who shown me so much respect it brought me there to volunteer a couple weeks later. When I volunteer I am easily greeted by happy and genuine working employees and other volunteers. I like the fast paced days as I forget I am even volunteering. I highly recommend giving time to the Freestore and if you need assistance there do not fear to ask them.”
8:30AM - 8PM
5505 Ridge Ave, Cincinnati“I love this location!! I also love how the Healthier foods are now at the front Close to the Entrance, makes my shopping experience so much easier?Update: Still the Best????”
“I have to give a shout out to Verner at the garden center.I took my 88 yr old mom to pick out some flowers, and he was so extraordinarily patient with us. He explained all the specific needs of the plants she was considering, even picking some out while I sat with her, as she was unable to get around on the gravel. He even had a lovely conversation with her about travel & things in common.I was so grateful & impressed.Thank you Verner.Debbie”
“I rely on Aldi for almost all of my food needs price and quality are the reasons, as well as their smaller stores. I know the layout and don’t have to hunt over dozens of aisles to find what I’m looking for.”
“Friendliest service from the deli to checkout. Choices are always fresh and delicious. Includes a grocery store with perishables and non-perishables. Good parking options. Quick in and out and they have inexpensive options if you don't want a full luncheon box to go. Love this place!”
“It's a convenience store at the end of a street that sells amazing soft-serve ice cream. I try to stop by whenever I am in the Covington/Newport/Bellevue area. The soft serve is such a great deal. They give you a huge portion for less than $4. The flavors are unique and change weekly. If you follow them on social media, they post what new flavors they have. Today's was vanilla and butter pecan mix. They also have beer on tap, a large variety of craft beer, and other typical convenience store items. The staff there are super friendly as well. Will definitely stop by again when I am in the area!”
“Always find deals here. Garlic Naan is great and their frozen meatballs. Remember you need a quarter for a cart and to bring your own bags. They also have a great miscellaneous section with amazing deals! We bought a camp show for just $6.”
“This place was fascinating to browse. They have a huge variety of fresh, dried and frozen food. We tried the blood orange tea and some halva. There was a tremendous variety of halva. More than I’ve seen before. Definitely worth a stop.”
10 AM - 10 PM
2157 Queen City Ave, Cincinnati“I stumbled upon Merkato Market today, and I'm glad I did. I was thrilled to find all kinds of injera bread, especially the kind that's made with only teff and water. I'm giving it five stars for that reason alone. The cashier came off as not so nice, but that's okay. I'm tough. And I WILL go back, not for the customer service but for the injera bread and other African/Ethiopian foods they supply. Tonight for dinner I will make Miser Wot served with injera bread. I can't wait.”
“This local produce and deli never cease to amaze me. Whenever I enter or how often I go I am greeted by the incredible smell of the my different fruits and vegetables! They are always fresh and tasty and at a fair price if you want the best. To support a local business and get the best that nature provides it truly a treat! As Always, Enjoy!”
“I love the prices, weekly specials, holiday for up comming holiday. I got once a week. With my friend. Bring your own bags to take home your items. Carts cost a quarter, that you get back when you take the cart back. Thanks”
“Convenient and always got what I need plus more when I go. Lots of extra stuff other stores Don't have and you wouldn't think they would, prices are good as well”
“So, Aldi has expanded their offerings quite a bit, from, like 10 years ago when I used to go there. Some amazing prices. $3.49 for 3 oz of smoked salmon, when I was paying $8.99 for 4 oz. of Kroger brand? And it's better and fresher. You have to let go of your attachment to certain brand names, and there are a few things I will have to find at other places, but this stop covers most of my grocery needs for a lot less. AND faster checkout with a real person. Bring a quarter for their grocery cart system! (New edit: This is my regular Aldi location. Despite being perhaps a bit smaller than some other locations (e.g. West Chester) this location seems to do better at having my bread, calzone's, cheese, and flavored sparkling water cans in stock.)”
“Amazing selection of local produce and curated fridge/frozen/pantry staples! Toncia is exactly kind of passionate business owner you want to have in your community. Must stop in every time we are in the area.”
“This is great little Asian grocery store. Knowledgable staff and really good prices. Thai basil, lemongrass, Asian eggplant, and even Asian bananas in the very back if you want to know what a real banana should taste like. Don't worry..they are supposed to look a little brown but they are delicious.”
“This is an amazing place and have some of the best options in town. One of my favorites is the lemon cheesecake donuts near the checkout. They also are very accommodating to the customers needs as the owner helped me find multiple things and even ordered the drinks I need.”
“Always clean and well maintained, food is always fresh and in temp for hot bar, and you can do Amazon returns here and it’s stupid easy. Perfect stop for lunch lol.”
“Awesome as always ? I work here and I have been off for a while because I was in an accident. Of all of the stores in the area, I still prefer Meijer above all else.
5/21/2024 update, I no longer work here, even though I'm thinking about coming back. They still have amazing people working there, I still recommend it, I still make sure that they have 5 out of 5 stars”
“Thank you for the service and respect towards me and my children, I thought I might be treated differently due to my race but I was stared at by other customers, and I say hello and they say hi, and just thought things would be scary but I was okay! Thank you for your service!”
“I highly recommend this GFS. The store is clean and well stocked. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Jen. The Manager is also great. He patiently answered all my questions about truck orders.”

227 Elm St, Ludlow“Locally owned with a wide selection of food that mostly comes from the Ohio and Kentucky area. The staff is always incredibly polite and ready to answer any questions you may have. The hot soup and sandwiches on selection are always a treat. While not strictly vegetarian there are plenty of options for those of us that abstain from meat. Be sure to try the frozen pizza, they will quickly become an addiction.”
“Stopped in to grab a bite and let me tell ya the food is amazing. You can watch them prepare it right in front of you and such friendly service. If you are wanting to keep your money local and enjoy international cusine without a passport you have to check them out.”
“Filled my car up with gas and left. It was a good experience, no problem. The attendant's are always courteous and professional. The experience have always been a good experience.”
“I think some of these reviews fail to realize that having a store like this in the armpit of Dayton is a blessing and they have to keep their prices high because it's not a grocery store where they can get things delivered by the truckload. They aren't price gouging us, prices are marked to keep afloat lol. It's a convenience store. You're paying for the convenience. Excellent service every single time and it's SO nice to pick up some odds and ends to save me a trip to Kroger.”
