The owner stole from me. He hired me to build his shower at his place. He also hired my father for his bathroom. He expected my dad to not see his grandchild for the holidays and wanted him to work the day after Christmas. I still was wanting to go and finish the job since I only had 3 tiles to install and the grout to get paid. Since he would only give my father the key to the job and not me, I couldn't get to work. The next day he fired my father for not showing up for the day cause my nephew came outta state and he spent time with his grandchild. I asked Omar why he won't let me finish my job since I had nothing to do with him and my dad's deal. All I could is control me doing my job and I was doing it in a reasonable amount of time. Instead he ripped my off almost $700 to $800. I would put a lean on it but I'm disabled and wasn't supposed to be working as is but I gotta feed my child. He knew what he was doing when he punished me by not paying for work. Plus he buy people's food stamps and goes to DG across the street and buys his 2 liters of soda with other people's food stamps. A crook

As for location, the worst place for a gas station or any business in the history of the world. It's a corner market which should be advantageous. But not in this case. An intersection with no left turn light that enters main street. Not their fault though. The city should place a left turn light. Coming from East Lexington Avenue or who are trying to enter is a nightmare either way. Or HWY 150 from Mt. Vernon to here, the high way to hell as I call it. One can sit and spin for 15 minutes at any time of day or night. Anyway, the station can handle 5 or 6 parked cars. That's it. Then it's roller derby getting in or out. Nice people though that work there.

I'm going to give this a high 3 soley because of Ms. Tabitha who prepares the Indian food. Knowledgeable, patient and kind, she explained her Indian street food very well. I have been to India many times...Mumbai, Bangalore and other places ...and have eaten Indian food all over the world including the famous Handi's in Nairobi Kenya. She does what she does very well...and the samosas we're great. The only blemish on my visit was the rude, surly cashier. He explained the Indian food to most of the customers coming in who inquired ...but said nothing to me although I inquired as well. Hmmm? Then when I purchased gas, he didn't greet me as he had "the other patrons" and I had to remind him he was speaking with a bona fide African American sister who is well traveled, knows Indian food and knows his type of prejudice very well... and was having none of it...from him nor anybody else in Danville. He seemed shocked ...but hey... welcome to America where he should have left his prejudices at his own doorstep...and where Black people are just as well traveled and knowledgeable about food...and demand equal respect and service ...and will tell you. I am Not shy about getting my respect. So I will go back to Valero from time to time because I love Indian food...but I will not... never... nada...NON... purchase gas nor anything else from this Valero.
