I have been going to Town and Country for several years. Now that my dog is a senior and 13-years-old, she needs special care and I have to wait one to two weeks to get her in to see her doctor (the only doctor she has known). Not only that, but the last three times I have called, I am having to wait 10 and 15-minutes on hold only to be told my dog has to wait one and two weeks to be seen. Service is slipping here.

They will bill your card that they are not authorized to bill without any notice and then be cold as ice when you talk to them. This is shady and against the law for them to do. Beware!

We brought our cats here to get spayed. We were given inaccurate pricing and charged more than we were told but it was the least of our worries. One cat came back fine, when we got the other cat home and got her out of the carrier she was COVERED in blood all over her stomach, clearly hadn't been checked on for a while. When we brought her back we were told that it might be because she is a "bad cat" and to be entirely fair, she is very afraid of the vet, definitely the kind that needs to be held down to operate, but for me personally I don't think anyone who refers to a difficult cat as a "bad cat" especially to the owners face as she bleeding out, should be working in a vet clinic. "Bad Cats" still deserve to be healthy. She isn't a "bad cat" when she isn't under stress and it was frankly really offensive in the midst of everything going on. They took her back and looked at her and decided to take her back to get a stitch redone but still tried to say that they were doing it "just in case" and that the cat probably had a bleeding disorder even though she's never had issues with bleeding before. Sounds to me like you don't want to admit that you messed up. There was no apology for the fact that they sent her home COVERED in blood and very obviously not okay. They decided to keep her overnight and thankful she was okay. I will say that they didn't vharge us to restitch or keep her overnight but a routine spay shouldn't be life threatening for a normal healthy cat. I was not happy with the way that they spoke to us and we will not be returning.

Originally posted (3 years ago) w/o details. I quit taking my Red Bone hound to our Harrodsburg vet, when they cut his nails (all of them) too short, causing trauma. These people are gentle, welcoming, and very busy. He's a high strung dog & tough to handle, but they remain gentle & professional. We can't say enough for them. If 6?were an option....

The staff is extremely friendly and it is obvious they care about the animals they see. The facility is clean, and both times I've taken my cats, I've had a great experience. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend

I want to give them the best review because they are wonderful but I don't want to because I don't want to have a long wait to get in and everyone will want to use this clinic once they've been there!
