These guys are awesome! Highly recommend this shop! If you need an honest hard-working mechanic this is the place to go. Was on a trip from WV and found this garage. Even though they were busy with other things they stopped to see what was wrong with my sisters car. They fixed the problem and we were on our way. Very friendly knowledgeable and reasonable prices. If I lived in Kentucky this would be my personal mechanic shop. Great job guys

Time and again Thompson’s has helped us out in a pinch. Yesterday we were preparing for a trip and ran to Valvoline to have our tires rotated. They broke off a lug stud and Thompson’s got us in the same day to fix it so we could feel safe on our trip. They are always friendly and get the job done at a fair price.

It’s so hard to find a garage where the people are trustworthy, honest and have fair prices, so I’m very thankful to have found Thompsons garage! I (knowing nothing about cars) can go in, ask a bunch of stupid questions and get all the answers and help I need?! I 10/10 recommend them!

They towed my daughter’s car after wreck and knew she needed to be taken to the ER. He told my daughter’s dad that he would drop the car off at his house and he was loaded and ready to go. The wreck was 10 minutes from the drop off point. Knowing they were waiting on him, he decided to pick up another car and drop it off in Danville bypassing my daughter’s dad’s house and then doubling back to bring the car back 45 minutes later! No apology. Charged $350 to tow a car 10 mins away and my kid had to wait 45 more minutes to get seen by a dr because getting another car was top priority. I wouldn’t use them again if they were the last tow place in earth. Family business? Would they treat their own kids that way? Do what you say and say what you mean!!!
