Went to the store today to get a battery that was listed in stock at store online. 1- they did not have the battery in stock that I was looking for nor did the manager who was the one helping me even offer to a comparable one. 2- when I am brought the battery that he says “goes to my truck” and I tell him that the terminal are not right he begins to become rude and almost insulting like he tells me “ I change a lot of these I know what I’m talking about”. Well I have 15+years of turning wrenches I believe I know when the part isn’t right for my vehicle. I will not buy anything new from this store again and hopefully never have to warranty anything I have bought from them

Discriminate against the black community and the black owned business. My first experience was one in which I went in for the first time stood around for ten minutes while several managers and employees joked amongst each other as I waited a white customer comes through the door and someone immediately greeted and asked the person if they could help her I felt after waiting 10 minutes and that happened I wasn’t supposed to have came in there so I left knowing my place at that time it was probably a year later I decided to try again but the experience wasn’t much better at that point I reported this to the district manager he said he’s look into it I’ve later asked other black me who work on cars or tinker around with cars but they each individually at different times told me they don’t go in there because of the treatment and disrespect felt going in there now I have been in once after I talked to the dm and had a better experience with a guy named Drury I don’t know him or his first name but today in needing a part for my Tow truck I had to try them again in which they had the part where no one else did and after I bought it I ask for the commercial guy because had placed application for the Towing business and I was told by the commercial guy named Harland that it was denied in which I asked why and he said because it had to be in a commercial location in the high I informed him that I’m in a commercial location but he said at that point it was because I tried to get a manager fired and he told corporate that that he denied it because of location but in fact I told him that it wasn’t his place to judge me cause I reported what was the truth and I knew it was his chance to deny another black owned business he said I was using that to get my way in which I said absolutely not it’s the facts as I see I and I’d make another report over his head well that doesn’t seem to help anything that one tries to do through proper channels the fact are they absolutely do not want black customer in that store and corporate doesn’t seem to mind so this is the reason for this review. The Harlan guy has been there for years and has been part of that whole negative vibe you feel when you walk in as the manager of this company my brother who is a 22yr veteran and hi just retired from the US Army is the president of this company and therefore it is actually incorporated and nothing should reflect on me personally in the which this is how one knows it’s strictly a discriminatory situation and not based on company location at all and at what point will the hate stop our money spends the same same and we are a local business. STOP THE HATE AND DISCRIMINATION!! Always helpful, and willing to learn new things, like the cross compatibility between cars to get high performance parts for vehicles that are not typically given aftermarket and performance support... They get a kick out of hearing about cool car projects that you are doing... All around a really good store and a really good Crew

Hey Everyone! It's been My Own Experience EVERY TIME I or We get treated with professionalism, kindness and never have to wait too long for Assistance if need be! Never felt like we were "interrupting" any of the helpful folks there have been patient and willing to do what ever we it took to get me in and out and back on the road again and I highly recommend you go to the Danville location for most of your Autos needs! Thanks Everyone at AutoZone! Y'all TOTALLY ROCK! ?
