This location has an excellent representative at the desk. She is very polite and knowledgeable. The men that deliver propane are very polite and professional and work safely. Highly recommend this group to keep you warm this winter.

Don’t expect to get an answer on the phone. Never happens. Tried 6 different offices as well as main 800 number, nothing but music followed by prompt to leave vm.

Always professional and on time. Rain or snow service is completed. Better pricing than other companies in our area.

I would not do business with this company. We had a credit from a fill that "disappeared" from their records. Beware!!!

The office staff and driver goes above and beyond to help you! When I ran out of fuel on a weekend they made sure I had heat and delivered to me on a Saturday. They didn’t have to do that but it was so much appreciated! They truly care about their customers and I won’t go anywhere else!

I have had this company for 3 years and everything was awesome until this past winter season. I prepaid for gas 11 days ago, and am still waiting. My tank is completely empty now and I have been without heat for days. Have talked to them several times and keep getting told "tomorrow " which never comes! My last winter with them! STAY AWAY!

Takes weeks to get a hold of someone. We have been a customer for 4 years and they have the worst customer service.

I have been a customer for less than a year. I will not be making it past this winter season. Not only have I had to call twice to dispute a bill, even though I prepay before every fill up, but now I'm on the verge of losing heat.I was sold on a 325 gal tank to heat my 3000 square foot space under the pretense that they had a 2-3 day turn around when calling in a fill up.I'm 8 days from prepaying for a fill up and my tank is sitting at 5%. I called on a Sunday when I realized that they still hadn't been out. Left a message that I would be without heat going into the ice/snow storm if someone didn't come out today. Got a call back the next day only to say sorry but our trucks are now grounded due to the weather and that they have a lot of customers calling for refills(7days after the request).I understand that a company like this gets busy, however, they sold me on a much smaller tank than any other propane company would recommend for the space I'm heating. I have had to refill this tank 2+ times a month. I would rather pay more and go with a company like Southern States or Suburban Propane. I will be taking my business elsewhere after this last prepaid fill up.

If you google Northern Kentucky Propane for "reviews," you won't find any. I suspect that's on purpose, because the parent company, United Propane in Paducah, KY, has pages and pages of law suits against it, including class action suits by two of Kentucky's Attorneys General. These complaints are all for breach of contract resulting in thousands of dollars out of customers' pockets. This company requests prepayment before delivery. The Cynthiana office overcharged my credit card, put bogus charges on my account, and charged me $76 for a regulator when THEIR CONTRACT says "all regulators" are included in the rental fee. The office manager told me the rental fee was $33/year, but the contract said $33/month. When I called about it, the office manager said, "Oh, that's OK. Just go ahead and sign it." Of course, I wasn't going to do that, so I corrected it to "yearly," initialed the change, then signed the contract. When I complained about all of this, the office manager threatened to send her guys out to get the tank, which contained 245 gallons of propane that I already paid for. When I then investigated United Propane, I found that this is routine with this company, because the tiny print in the contract says they don't have to refund your money for any gas in a returned tank. Many, many customers filed complaints about them doing the same thing to them. Bottom line, Northern Kentucky Propane and its parent United Propane flagrantly violate their own contract to cheat the customer. If you read the reviews for United Propane, you will be astounded at the things they get away with because their customers don't know how to fight back. But I DO!!!
