“I haven't used all of their products and I am not a Mennonite so not their target audience, but what I have used is impressive. I greatly admire the Mennonite work ethic and am trying to instill this value with my own children on our "mini farm". Aside from that, the teaching is solid, not bogged down with verbage or fluff, and on a more shallow note, I love the sweet, old-fashioned illustrations. :) It is also just hands-on enough to add interest and get some movement in without being overwhelming with mountains of manipulatives, or taking too much time to follow convoluted steps (this happened when I tried another "conceptual" game-based math curriculum that also starts with R and S).To the critics who say it's biased toward the Mennonite denomination... Duh. It's written by and for Mennonites. Just like a curriculum written for Jews will favor Judaism. Or Catholics, Catholicism. The point is: Does it teach well? From what I have seen, yes, it does! I wish I had found it sooner.”
