I recently had the pleasure of getting my curly hair cut and colored by Kevin, the owner of Swayne on Main. From start to finish, it was evident that this stylist was not only skilled but also genuinely passionate about catering to curly hair needs. He also is a master with color. I was not happy with my color but he knew exactly what I wanted and delivered! What stood out right from the beginning was the thorough consultation. Before even picking up the scissors, Kevin took the time to understand my hair type, its unique quirks, and most importantly, what I wanted from the haircut and color. This attention to detail immediately put me at ease, knowing that my curls were in good hands. What also made the experience memorable was Kevin's personality. He brought a sense of fun and enthusiasm to the appointment. It felt like an enjoyable salon visit with a friend. Kevin's passion for his craft was infectious, and it made the entire experience all the more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend Kevin to anyone with curly hair. Not only did he deliver exceptional results, but he also took the time to listen, understand, and cater to my specific needs. If you're looking for a stylist who knows how to work magic with curls and makes the entire process enjoyable, look no further. Kevin is truly a gem in the world of curly hair care!

Traveling from out of state, Kent and his crew were able to get me in for hairstyle. The communication with my hairstylist was on par. The salon is nice and clean. The service is great and good price.Service: Hairstyling

I paid and tipped Stephanie to cut my shoulder length hair to a pixie type cut. I brought a picture as a guide. I looked in the mirror later and saw a mushroom head! Nothing close to the pic. I had to go to another stylist to correct her "cut" of my hair. Why would I want to walk around with a mushroom head? I now have hair inches shorter but spot on the picture! My hair will grow out and I will not return.

I was able to make an appointment for my husband and my 2 brother in laws for a same week appointment which we are grateful for. They reached out quickly and scheduling was easy. However, not sure what happened with the haircut but it was pretty awful. It was really disappointing since we had a funeral the same week and the haircuts were probably worse than super cuts. I should of taken photos of the hair before and after to post. We came home only to have my husband get another cut.

Came here to get my hair done for a friends wedding and as I am from out of town I relied on the reviews to find a local place I can trust. Can truly say this has been one of the best experiences I’ve had at a salon. Lydia did a fantastic job making me look as stylish as I requested; Highly recommend!

I am 60 years old and travel from a Cincinnati suburb to Covington, KY to see Kevin. I became aware of him when I saw someone's fabulous haircut and asked who cuts their hair. I have never been as happy with a haircut as I am with the cut Kevin gives me. He is an artist. And he doesn't overcharge for his masterful work. Worth the trip and it's fun to be in his salon.
